DEUS Official Trailer (2022) Sci-Fi Movie HD 

My problem with every space sci-fi movies is, they are supposed to be astronauts, chosen from the best of the best, pass through a very tight screening process, from physical to mental stability. Very well trained in problem solving, logical thinking, prioritizing objectives, working together and keep calm under heavy pressure. Yet, in every space sci-fi movie, once they encountered a problem, they turned into bunch of spoiled teenagers on their puberty. Why ?

I wish Claudia Black would make more Sci Fi movies, she is a great actress.

I love movies like this where it's contained on a ship floating in space. Sunshine is one of my favorite films of this genre, I'll def give this one a watch.

the 90s had the best movie trailers. They didn't reveal the entire film in 2 minutes.

That line 'our planet is dying' kind of reminds me of Boyle and Garland's 'Sunshine'.

Starts off as interesting. Special effects are good, until you get to the inside of the ship. Then it displays the B-movie budget very clearly. Nice to see Claudia again though! Movie, is... I guess it is arrite, but not much more than that.

Talk about giving away the whole movie in a trailer. Whoever put together this trailer should never be hired for anything else ever.

Just watched this movie. It's great. Great to see Claudia Black on screen. Not seen much of her since Farscape, but she was a big favorite of mine then and now. Also props to them for using real miniatures for the Ship. Ill take great miniatures over shitty CGI any day. It reminds of of my childhood watching classics from the 70's & 80's that also employed spectacular minis.

Don't you love when the trailer tells you the entire story of the movie. Now I don't have to see it, what a spoiler lmao.

What really makes me so angry...is that i was on board with this movie until they discovered the reason behind the sphere. And it was not the reason that ruined the movie for me. It was the emotional response by the female protagonist and her companion. Literally ruined the whole movie.

Gives me Even Horizon, Prometheus and Sunshine vibes.

SPOILER: Movie was interesting up until the point you figure out why the sphere is there, which was telegraphed earlier in the movie in the most mundane, poorly written manner ever. The Sphere was manufactured to convince humanity it was god and lead them into this 'light gateway' where they will suffer no more and be in paradise; in actuality the 'light gate' is an event horizon that deletes people from existence.The reason the main antagonist does this is logical; it's predicted in 30 years earth will die due to overpopulation, a very real problem. The 'Protagonist' figures out what the structures that have now surrounded the earth are actually doing, and when told the logic behind it just says, 'yeah well, you know my mom told me a story about 5 fishermen who were stranded on a boat with only enough food for 3 people. And in that story they happened to come across a island because u never know what the ocean might bring" blah blah blah, so in reality protag thinks humanity should wait and hope within the next 30 years some solution comes up that solves the problem instead of being proactive and tackling the issue. At that point I turned off the movie and had a bowel movement.

Is this in the same universe as event horizon?

Black & Blackwood = Sci-fi star Meets Soap star.

Pure scifi. No gimmicks, no pandering, no "isms".....just a good old scifi story of good guy vs bad guy. Nicely done. Small cast, good story line, good acting, small twist in there as well. Clean cut science fiction, nothing more. All these naysayers are the ones that watch movies for all the BS, political panderings, and CGI. Thats not science fiction, thats advertising. THIS movie IS science fiction.

If it has Claudia Black in space, then I'm all about it. Pitch Black and Farscape solidified Claudia in my opinion as a Sci-Fi Queen.

Most of the time, previews give away way too much of the plot. This one doesn’t tell you much at all- until it shows you their F-CKING SPACE SHIP EXPLODES 😂😂

I freaking HATE movies play in the dark and therefor are not lit well and everything is dark. WHY? It always feels as if there was only half the budget and they decided to make evertyhing dark to save costs.

This movie is not top rated sci fi cause it wasn’t probuced by Amazon or Netflix or one big movie production company it literally my second best to interstellar the movie

A lot of movies can be improved by simply cutting 30% of the dialogue. Folks talk too much in these B movies, and the majority of these actors are inexperienced. Should probably have them nail the scene w/o dialogue first before allowing them to do it with the dialogue.

This is how to make a great sci fi movie even if your budget isn’t big.....I seen Richard Blackwoods name on the list and expected a pile of shite....but fair play he was quite good.....great film, absolutely great concept, one of the most surprising enjoyable films Ive seen for quite some time....

I didn't last five minutes. Foul mouthed unprofessional crew members with tons of attitude. A completely unbelievable space craft, and the usual very dark, brooding, creepy vibe that pervades all sci-fi now. No thanks.

This movie was truly crap. Full of plot holes and not to give any spoilers but literally ended with zero resolution. No loosed ends tied up. The 'villians' plan still came to fruition. Which not really sure how you can consider him a villian. If you have seen the movie than you know that some people have to get dirty to keep the world spinning. An absolute emotional ending verus logical, and again did not change any outcome.

Why does the future, keeps sending meth-heads into deep space

This had a interesting story. What would a struggling humanity do if a dark sphere one day showed up in universe and we travelled to it in a huge spaceship only hearing one word over and over again ... God. Would we embrace it in love or deny it in fear. Thumbs up for a good movie. 👍

A very poorly made movie combining three storylines from other, more successful films; 2001: Odyssey Two, Arrival, and Event Horizon. Well acted but that's about the extent of its successes.

Looks like an easy pass. Dumb premise, acting is D Grade, dark everything to cover low budget affair, and the trailer gave away the most of the story which was written during a cross country flight.
