The limiting factor will be the C3000 when a big tractor is used. There will be a point that the chopper will not be able to handle more crop. The ‘intake window’ is then completely filled, it will be impossible to use all tractor power available. This point is reached between 250 and 300 hp, depending on the length of cut and the crop harvested. Using any Tractor with more than 300 hp does not make sense. The risk of blocking the chopper will be higher as the tractor will not go down in RPM.
