Jose Gutierrez, You and me both! I’ve seen plenty of bears in my life but one never as “portly” as this one. I bet his nickname around the other bears is SLIM! LMAO
@@TheGarlicfather grab a dictionary man, an ass eating animal is majestic by the books, not to mention bears are basically a more badass version of wolves visually
The experience of being attacked by a bear that size is well replicated in the 2015 movie “The Revenant,” starring Leonardo DeCaprio. This film is not exploitative in the way other movies depict animal attacks. The bear is not demonized, but instead is acting as a mother bear normally would when she perceives her cubs are threatened. After being given up for dead by his hunting party following the bear attack, Leo’s character, based on a well known mountain man who really existed, is faced with the bleak challenge of transforming his shattered body until he becomes a revenant, one who comes back from the dead. Set in the 1820s, before the California gold rush and the migration westward by thousands of settlers, this portrays the time and place with unflinching detachment. It was an era before the cowboy, a time when hunting parties like the one Leo’s character is part of would venture into unexplored mountain wilderness in search of pelts. This activity did not endear them to the local Indians, and here we find out the Indian version of vengeance.
This is the first video I've seen that really captures what a grizzly bear really looks like. I can feel the power resonating from it. Truly scary but amazing to see.
@@adamwilson9718 brown brears/grizzly is the same thing. Just the grizzlies are sub species because of their diet, they eat less. The brown bears eat more salmon so they get bigger. Grizzlies can be a range of colours like even dark grey. Sometimes people mistake them for black bears. Their all grizzlies just what they eat separates them by a little. Polar bears are also sub species but set very far apart because of the area they inhabit. And the prey they hunt they got bigger. What's interview is their true fur colour is always brown colour not white. It only looks white to the eyes. So whether it's a brown bear or grizzly you can just say grizzly because it's Brown bears/Grizzly by default name.
@@jeb2613 agreed, and yes I think it's the lighting also since the background is so dark the bear almost looks out of place since they have a spotlight right on him. Terrifying

Exactly crazy how he is wandering around like a king but has some fear in his eyes.. Mike Tyson always said fear is the motivatior it'll keep you on your toes like the bear is here
My goodness what a magnificent creature. All you campers and outdoors people I give you credit for venturing into areas these animals reside. I can’t do it.

I’d be over with.. I think that’s more scary than walking through a corn field and ET jumps out and his neck extends….😭😂..I was terrified of ET as a child 🤷🏾♂️😂
Gonna be honest, you don't want to see fear/skittishness in an animal like that, fear is what makes animals attack humans. All it takes is a flip decision and it decides to get rid of the flashes.
I don't think it's fear, I believe it's very good reflexes. When a bear that size lives in the wild it needs to be ready for anything. Hense why he's as big as he is in this video. What a beast!
@@mikesprigg5495 I was mainly referring to the short faced/bulldog bear.. Asian and African bush elephants average about 9-10 feet tall.. I think the short faced bear is said to have been 11 feet standing up. It is the standing up height v bipedal but it’s still kind of big lol
I love how he just come through that dark forest For those who don't know this happened in Turkey and the guy who filmed it planted a food for this bear to complete his photo exam for his uni. He said he was following this beast and figured out what's its favorite food and use that food to reach it

The bear was scared by the flash, but you don't care......nice "understanding" of nature you have.
You would be surprised. I encountered, it had to have been at least 1000 pound black bear in my driveway one evening in the mountains of Pennsylvania. He was eating a bag of garbage he had pulled out of my garbage cans at the end of my driveway. I didn't see him because he was sitting on his butt behind a tree right there at the cans. I got within 10 feet of the cans before I noticed he was there. I'm saying he because of his size. Anyways. I threw the bag of garbage at him and calmly walked back to my car. Which was a good 20 feet away. I turned to look at him before I sat in my car and his head was way bigger than the opening of my can and I had industrial size garbage cans. He just looked at me like Gee , thanks for the bag of garbage and kept on snacking.
@@Migglefitch black bears are chill they'll only attack if in fear if that was a brown grizzly bear 🐻 he'll be scratching ur car up trying to make u his meal
I was thinking the same thing! It's amazing that a creature so Large and Powerful can be so agile on their feet at the same time!! Totally Awesome Animal!! God The Father s magnificent creation s!!
Bro those flinches were legit just him ready to go absolutely fucking savage at anything he caught nearby making him tense up lmao. This the type of bear that walks through a stick and it flips back and slaps him so he tears half the tree into pieces in a few seconds.

We are smart enough to know when we are truly in danger and don’t need to jump at a flash or noise every single time. Also bears live in the wild and have to be constantly aware of dangers around them. Humans don’t because of the way we live compared go them
