Yeah, the F15 will definitely be my favorite addition. I already have a blast doing BVR in the F15A, and with even better radar missiles, it’ll just be even more fun. There’s literally nothing that beats the F15’s high alt high speed flight performance
@@batlax18 Yeah until you get smacked by an R-27ER or AIM-54. I find BVR with the F-15A a complete chore. Sure yeah it’s the ER but the AIM-54 has a solid chance being a Fox-3 itself and all especially now they are dropping Multipathing to 50 Meters from 100.
The F-15C is going to be a monster in BVR. It's flight performance is crazy good for defending, it climbs better than pretty much everything and the 120 edges out everything else slightly in range. The F-15s are going to go higher than everyone else before anyone else and be able to launch at a higher speed and altitude. If they fix the oscillations that are just killing the accuracy of these missiles at the moment, the aim 120s on an F-15 will be crazy. They'll be able to carry so much speed.
Still with an underperforming radar based of the incorrect soviet F15 handbook but now with tws and worse performance than the F15A with PW100s when the PW220s make it fly faster, accelerate better and fly higher
@@christopherchartier3017 not at all dude. Have you even looked at the PW220 performance charts? With PW100 an F15A (35k lbs)reaches max Mach 2.3. A heavier F15C with MSIP kit (38k lbs) its shy from Mach 2.5 at same fuel %. Not only that, it reaches that top speed faster than the A can reach its top speed. The F15A cannot overspeed itself, meanwhile an MSIP F15C can overspeed itself below 42k ft.
@@mamo4731 Holy cow no I didn't know that. I always thought the F-15A could hit 2.5 just like the C could, and that gaijin just mismodelled it in game to only hit 2.3. That's pretty good
@@christopherchartier3017 right now the C is worse that the A. It will be on live. They denied the report for the C and the slimy dev of kstepanovich based the apg63 on an old soviet intruction manual and has been refusing to fix it since december.
No one who’s serious about Air RB is gonna play that plane. Even with Fox-3s it’s not gonna be any good unless you play Ground RB which would be a situational thing.
It’s a keybind you have to set. I forget what it’s called, but it’s the same thing as when you lock on to someone not using ACM. Sorry if this was confusing
I kinda wish they didnt give this thing a HMCS/HMD. It’s supposed to be an “early” Fox-3 capable F-15C. So the HMD should have been saved for one of the BIG dawg F-15Cs with AIM-9Xs, AIM-120Ds, legion pods and an AESA radar.
@@moose8128 its not a matter of balance its just not something the early F-15C had. Giving HMCS out willy nilly just diminishes the uniqueness of it in planes that were well known for having it like the MiG-29 and Su-27. Not a matter of gameplay just a matter of preserving distinct features between nations. It makes sense in the F-16C (kinda) and would make more sense in the future F/A-18C which was WELL known for having it
