@cscrignaro it's not a trigger, and yes i can, i just didn't care enough to fix the mix since it sounded fine as it is and i had already spent 10 hours mixing these drums lol
You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. You completely and utterly nailed that entire song and you deserve millions of views for the work you did on this cover
We have a nearly identical taste in music, yet you rarely do songs I like, however I am a drummer, so I always watch your vids and I respect the time and effort you put into each one.
DUDE!! That is probably one of the greatest drum covers I have ever heard out of all the drum covers that I have seen on youtube!!! You are really good and just holy crap man that was awesome drumming you did!! Subscribed!
TotlaMadDrummer95 is just mad that he's not a rad drummer like you bro. it's mixed but not to the point where it's ridiculous, lots of props man, you killed it!
I have been watching your videos since the rockband days and your blast beats have become increasingly cleaner. I do miss the pedal cam but fuck you are good enough to do what you want. Keep up the good work.
Ive always watched your videos. From the beginning I have. I have never left a comment until now but dude, you are ABSOLUTELY incredible at playing drums. You've definitely gotten alot better and grown, being a fellow drummer. Stay prime man, Good luck on your future drumming. ps:Quick suggestion: try covering MVP by Despised Icon ... now that's some advanced shit and I know you can probably nail it. my favorite song by far too
when will we be hearing more of Without Heroes? sick cover by the way...major respect for the blast beats and awkward time signatures. born of osiris is a tough band to cover
@nateliebert Triggers are placed on the rim of a drum allowing them to pick up when the head of the drum is struck. Once the head of the drum is struck, the trigger sends a signal to a module which will then play a pre-recorded sample. A sample is (generally) a short recorded sound. If there are triggers on the kick drum, it will play a Kick Sample that sounds great every time the head is struck. Triggers work wonders for clarity while playing fast, technical songs live.
Fucking phenomenal cover of this man. Great video, seriously! Loved watching this. I'm a huge fan of BOO and I love that song a lot! Keep up the sick covers man.
You should make a video showing short segments of your foot technique and some exercises you use to gain your speed. You're quite the impressive drummer.
Totally sick. How do you do those super fast blasts with your legs? Hours and months of practice and (in essence) strength training? I'm referencing like at 0:26 and 0:47 or so. Sickening! Love it.
Lol how long did it take to get the snare to sound that good? I would imagine a fair but of tweaking. Pull The Trigger by TTEOTD would be sweet to see you replicate, or something or Ocean Gateways by Obscura, Hannes isn't as tech, but its full of groove, and at around the 3 minute mark it gets a bit progy.
I have mixed feelings on triggers. For live shows I am perfectly fine with them being used. However, for recordings, I am against using them. The whole point of recording is to record your natural sound. If your going to use triggers in recordings then just buy an e-kit since its the same thing.
by any chance do use color correction on ur vids? or different lights cause in the other vid from AILD the light has a green to it and this vid has a purple light idk it looks nice tho
@SSblind73 plz reply i would like to know if u could an instructional video of how to do those really fast blast beats :) also how much time u practice a day to get to that level and wat foot technique do u use
