Hey everybody my name is Joel and I am a sing & play piano coach for the last 15 years teaching. I have taught more than 2000 students to be able to sing and play the piano.
I have really mastered the art of how to sing and play the piano. So, that is what we're going to be doing in this channel and group. I'm going to be teaching you music theory, piano lessons, singing lessons and how to just bring all this together, to be able to sing and play the piano.
So, one of the key elements of the way I would go about teaching is the aspect of adding the human creativity. Each of us are super unique. We don't need to be play piano or sing sounding like somebody else.
Creativity, imagination and freedom to perform, these three elements are very important for us to not just learn music but grow as performers.
My teaching is non-traditional in approach. The first thing that I would want to teach to my students is the aspect of thinking in creativity and then we go about learning how to read music and make it more formal. For the last 15 years I've been teaching music in formal settings and also in informal settings and in all of this, what I was able to recognize is, Music primarily needs to be taught in its creativity and freshness and then go about understanding more formal concepts.
So, if you are somebody who wants to be able to sing and play the piano, join this channel. I can help you out. I teach all kinds of songs. But one of the things I really concentrate is the church music and also I really have a heart for worship and church music and so that's something that I would really really concentrate on. Pop songs which are meaningful I would really want to go about teaching. We live in a time of meaningless music where pop music has really lost its standards.. If I see some songs that are meaningful and worth learning then I'm singing to make a tutorial on that. and make it a good experience for all of you. All right.
