So glad this resource exists. I have looked a lots of DVDs, books, consulted friends and a few teachers locally. I have to say that you hit the right notes for me. I look forward to learning answers to some questions I don't even know I have at the moment!

thanks for this quick reply - I will focus on the bubbling point - yet also with my leg alignment with my foot (at least delaying surgery I hope). Thanks again DDR Namaste (can't wait to be summer time again and to feel the earth with my feet, meanwhile let it snow so I can ski!!)

I love how you are adding a bit more depth every time you add a video. I know I am 6 months late to the show but I love it.One day I will get to work with you in person. At least I hope so. Thanks once again.

What I do on beginning to turn in this move is to sink further on my left leg...found this helped open my right kua and have a better bow stance.

Thank you for very nice lesson, Sifu. Even though in the past there was similar movement, listening and watching again gave more insight on the detail movement. Similar as Jack, the last time I was bare feet over moving water was many years ago :). I may have experience when swimming, but never pay attention on the qi.

Well, it's not that you HAVE to literally put your feet over water. But when you do it might give you such a strong experience of the sensation that it will stay with you longer, and make you more able to look for that sensation during your practice.

I have a stream running through my yard, so I actually get to feel the bubbly water pretty often, weather permitting. Meanwhile, I can finally feel it through my feet while doing tai chi in my living room.

I cant remember the last time I touched running water with my feet but I do qi gong barefoot in the grass frequently. I am noticeable more stable and stronger than I am with shoes.

Was there a 49th video, please? Was there a video on December 3rd? Please guide me to the video if there is one. Thank you.

I sort of cheated - on Sunday I posted an interview with the head of the women's division of Krav Maga Global. So you didn't miss a lesson ;-) . I needed a day to catch up on production.

To answer your question, I haven't done anything with my bare feet over moving water since I was a kid. I have more of a Qigong question: what do you think of Baoding Balls? I have several sets of different sizes, and materials. I know the theory says they stimulate the acupressure points in your hands. I find them to be somewhat addictive, and I feel a general sense of well being while playing with them. Playing with my balls, that just sounds wrong.

LOL - Jack I think you are ready to join the TaijiFit Inner Circle! We have a class we call Iron Fusion that uses both weighted Stix and weighted (2-3 lbs) balls (about the size of a grapefruit). We have a prize for the most unique way of saying "playing with our balls" - and believe me, there have been a lot of entries!

LOL sounds like my kind of class.

Is it okay for the knee to go past the end of the foot?

I've found Day 48 but so far I don't see Day 49 either

Just found the answer to your question about Day 49. David-Dorian Ross replied on another comment from 3 years ago that (I'm paraphrasing) he used Day 49 slot for an interview.

It,s disturbing with Two pictures in the frame when your start. It,s also does not help when the camera starts to zoom on; you legs, on your torso: you speak, but your face is partly outside the frame. This is actually counterproductive to dig your message. We say in Tai chi: When one part moves; everything moves. therefore it,s important that your whole body is visible all the time in the frame. I am also notice that you dont write in the head of the text - for the newcommers who might not know - that your are working in the Yang Style. Otherwise a very good concept, to go through the Yang Style Slowset bit by bit.
