Thank you! Goemon was a choice from the start. He’s such a cool character in any adaptation that is out. I am very happy about ours. Yasuke wasn’t initially planned, we were thinking about a Portuguese soldier, but after know more about him, and seeing the first design that out lead artist made, it was very easy to decide haja
I just picked this up last night, & the game is DOPE. The art style feels so nostalgic; like Samurai Showdown meets 80's Hanna Barbera cartoon design. Combat's the icing on this delicious cake.
I am loving this! The background and the characters could be more cohesive IMO tho, or atleast a distinct individual color for each character during (special) moves
Thank you! Bushido Blade is not a direct inspiration though. My idea is more of a more cinematic fighting game. That could drink from the old samurai movie pond :D

2:18 he died cause touched the shadow of the sword , seen like 15 times on 0.25 maibe thats a feature and the shadow efect also count as a hut , never played the game 😅
Yeah, the colliders are only in the head and the chest of the characters. Since it is a one hit game, I deliberately didn't put colliders in legs and arms so the hits don't feel cheesy@@noxi64
This is cool. Never played One Strike. What will this be available on? And at what price? Also a bit of constructive criticism. The moment when the two fighters clash and the screen changes aspect ratio is a bit jarring.
man I would like to love this game, but something just feel like the animation is not enough... Also like footsies the game I feel like attack are just two and I feel like it would be great if we have at least 5 to 6 move like forward weak attack, neutral weak attack and such.... I know at this point of development this is unlikely but still...
Have you started using the attack cancel and feints? They can be a source of creativity and add to the mind game aspect of the game. Like you said, adding more moves per character are not in roadmap of the game

With the beginning battle only, this is a representation of Castlevania Bloodlines' *John Morris* and *Eric Lecarde* many years after defeating Count Dracula and the forces of evil as they continue to battle each other in their senior years out of boredom like old grouchy neighbors who yell at each other day after day. Assim que eu comprei a versão completa do game na Steam, me deparei com alguns problemas: - O game, em certos momentos de jogatina... TRAVA MUITO. - Não tem um modo torre com chefão (como é de costume de games de luta) - E uma coisa que me chamou atenção, foi a mudança de COMANDOS Back Dash e Dash de alguns personagens. Pois achei, muito estranho isso. Vou explicar melhor: HOZOIN - É o único personagem que tem 3 ATAQUES. Não tem Dash e, quando tento executar o Dash (Dois pra frente ou R1) Faz outro comando. E tem dois comandos de FINGIR ATACAR. GOEMON - Possui 2 ataques Achei a fumaça negra dele um pouco DESBALANCEADA, poderia ser nerfada. E possui apenas 1 FINGE ATACAR. KENJI - Possui 2 ataques. Possui 2 FINGE ATACAR Esse boneco é super balanceado e gostei muito dele. Poderia dar um Buffer no ataque forte dele, pois achei um pouco lento e deixa a guarda dele aberta demais. TOMOE - Possui 2 ataques e possui Apenas 1 FINGE ATACAR. É outra personagem que gostei muito, porém, poderia haver mais um FINGE ATAQUE pra ela. MIYO - Possui 2 ataques. Possui 2 FINGE ATAQUES. O que achei estranho nessa personagem é a confusão do comando que seria de BACK DASH e, ao executar (Dois pra trás ou L1) sai um... DASH. 😅 Achei confuso isso. É quando se executa o comando que seria de um Dash, (Doida pra frente ou R1) sai um golpe. Sei lá, achei isso bizarro, creio que o Comando de Dash é Back Dash deveria ser universal no game, pra no ficar estranho, entende? Achei essa mudança brusca demais. E percebi também que essa personagem não dá o Back Dash quando cancelamos um ataque pra irmos pra trás. Ao invés de cancelar é ir pra trás, ela vai pra frente. Tipo, todos os bonecos deveriam ter essa opção de cancelar um golpe e escolher ir pra trás ou ir pra frente, deveria ser universal no game também. AYAI - Possui 2 Ataques e Apenas 1 FINGE ATACAR. Adorei a personagem também BALANCEADA, mas merecia mais um comando de FINGE ATACAR. YASUKE - Possui 2 Ataques e também 2 FINGE ATACAR. Mais um boneco que não tem Dash e quando se aperta o comando de (Dois pra frente ou R1) o boneco executa um dos FINGE ATACAR. Confesso que esse bufou meu cérebro. 😅 O alcance de ataques dele é muito bom mas merecia um Dash rápido, pois a locomoção dele é EXTREMAMENTE lenta. Quanto ao SHENYAN, não tive como testá-lo pois não está disponível. Diante do que apresentei do que achei de cada personagem gostaria que podes se rever a questão de botões universais. Pois deixaria o game mais atrativo e convidativo no quesito jogabilidade. Não entendi porque SOMENTE o HOZOIN tem três botões diferentes de ataques e os demais não tem. Um ou outro personagem tem 2 FINGE ATAQUES e outros não tem. Uns de Dash e Back Dash e outros não tem... Esses comandos ao meu ver, deveriam ser universais, sabe? Mesma execução pra todos. Bom, este foi meu Feedback e, muito obrigado pela atenção. Desejo muito sucesso para seu game que eu venha uma sequência desse game MARAVILHOSO.
Primeiro muito obrigado por comprar o jogo! Quando você fala travar muito, você fala as pausas entre lutas? Só pra eu entender melhor. O jogo ainda está em early access, a ideia é adicionar o chefao, ainda. Só esperar que ele vai aparecer! Entao, existe uma lógica bastante simples por detrás de tudo isso que você falou. A ideia é manter o jogo simples, mas ao mesmo tempo criar personalidades e estilos de lutas diferente em cada personagem. Nao sei se você percebeu mas os personagens podem cancelar os ataques com os dashes. Existem muitos usos para isso, um deles é poder cancelar ataques em outros ataques, como o caso do Hozoin. Só ataque canceláveis tem seus possíveis Fake attacks. Entao por exemplo, a tomoe que nao pode cancelar o seu ataque forte, nao podem tambem fingir o ataque forte. Eu sei que parece um pouco random, mas cada jogo de luta tem suas regras e as vezes nao sao muito obvias. A Miyo tambem tem 3 ataques, a Ayai nao tem ataques fortes, o Goemon nao tem dashback, mas uma habilidade especial, o Yasuke pode qubrar defesas e por ai vai, é jogar mais e descobrir esses outros segredos. As execucoes nao sao iguais porque é assim que eu faco o equilibrio do jogo. O ataque forte da Tomoe é muito forte, por isso seria injusto ainda mais poder cancelar e fingir. In fact the game reminds of Bushido Blade where you can only be struck 2-3 time before the round is over. You are a genius for this! even in a game like this, you can tell that Goemon is going to be one of 'those' characters who most players will suck with, but then there will be players who take that weird toolkit and make it work.
@twostrikesgame Not anymore. I should change my name. I'm focusing more on music, but I do plan on playing more GBFVR, TEKKEN 8, and 2XKO when it comes out. This game seems interesting, though. A more brutal SamSho with less moves.
