Developer Loses His Mind With Laravel Folio and Volt

This week Laravel Folio and Laravel Volt were released in their beta stages. Spending some time getting to know them, initially I couldn't get anything to work. Thank God for friends!
Come along as I take a lil dive into these new packages and show how we can build awesome #laravel apps with them!

Nice one, however would you please increase the font size of both your editor and browser when you are recording. It will really improve the quality of your tutorials.

I have upgraded to livewire 3 from livewire 2. having a lot of livewire component. Want to use `liveiwre/volt`. But getting error in regular livewire page while adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` in `config/app.php` `providers` array. Normal error like `Undefined variable`. Despite being variable defined. for Example: In a blade file I assigned a variable `$hello = 'world'`. In very next line I am printing `echo $hello`. Output `undefined variable $hello`. just after adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` class. If I comment/delete this provider from provider array everything working as expected

I really liked this video. Do you mind if I give a little feedback as a viewer? 1. The thumbnail and tweet was really good. I HAD to watch the video. But I felt like I had to go through a lot to get to the promise. 2. I loved your record scratch moment (about 3:42). But I would have taken this 5 second segment and added it to the very start as a kind of ‘cold open’. This then delivers on the headline promise that you’ll show me how to fix the problem. I’d then be much more likely to keep watching to find out what the solution was. This is in no way negative criticism. Just some friendly feedback from a first time viewer. 🙂

Oh and as juliuscool says, bigger font on your IDE please! And finally, I feel you could have shaved off a few mins by starting with Folio/Volt/Tailwind all installed. Then just showed us the webpages. Eg “I installed folio and volt as per the docs. Then added tailwind. Ok. So here’s the problem. I added my component and - record scratch - it didn’t work. “

Glad you liked the video. I’m not sure what you mean about Tailwind though… can you elaborate?
