Zhang Weili TKO 42 seconds against Jessica Andrade and became the first Asian ever to capture UFC World Champion belt. Chong Xie joined the training team 3 months prior as a movement coach and fascia conditioning coach. the main goal was to reduce foot related injuries and increase holistic power and accuracy through Hyperarch Fascia Training. UFC 248, Zhang Weili wins against Joanna Jedrzejczyk by having what it could be the best female fight of the year. Currently, Coach Chong Xie actively trains Zhang Weili and planning on defending the title against the winner of Andrade and Rose.

Should I be gripping the floor with my other (balancing) foot while doing the exercise? I found that I had more glute activation in the balance foot (non-marble gripping) because of having to balance.

不是动作,而是张力, 筋膜内的张力。

I think it’s just weakness or not being used to it. Try sitting on your feet for some minutes before trying it. It may help loosen your feet

wear minimalist shoes, but try to train barefoot for all training of hyper arch. if you are going on a run use minimalist shoe, or to lift use a shoe with a hard sole, not squishy airmaxes or anything.
