project its only for Kolkata city,,,not for all west Bengal ? honestly WB state govt must to do focus on devlopements of second largest city of West bengal is (Siliguri city ) so plan infratructuers of Bagdogra Airport into international n also plan city Metro train to connect from Airport to centre siliguri city n NJP Railway station through city Metro train, cos siliguri is gateway N/E n touristic junction to Sikkim / Darjeeling n also international border with Nepal/Bhutan/ Myimaar etc, ,
Fail to understand why the expansion will take 6 years. Why is the CM not arranging for land for the second Airport for Kolkata which the Ministry of Civil Aviation has mooted. Present State Government is corrupt and only interested in vote bank politics but not development of the state.
@@Bongophile18 Then how do you think it is going to happen without the Government arranging for requisite land. I personally feel the Government should reap the benefit of twin cities of Kolkata and Howrah by building ring roads inner and outer encompassing the two metropolis and the second Airport should come up on the other side of Ganges in close proximity to the Kolkata Mumbai Highway.
Pl don't spread negativity. Other states don't do all this . This govt is the best one ever and most development has occurred , after 34 years of misrule
