Devi Dwar at Gayala Banka village of Banki subdivision in Cuttack is a less explored attraction of Cuttack around 20 kms from Cuttack city and 30 kms near Bhubaneswar.The Devi dwar is a very nice picnic spot at Banki which is along the banks of river Mahanadi. The Gayala banka area has a lot of amazing unexplored places out of which Devi dwara is one. Devi dwara has a very old ramachandi temple and also an island named as Turtle island due to its shape is there near this place. One can go to this turtle island by hiring a local boat. A lot of tourism related work is in plans and water sports may also be developed here at the Gayala bank gram panchayat at Devi dwar.
