@@aniketjaiswal3147 I don't understand what state of maturity considers Paxton a jerk and not Ben? Like they're 15-16 year olds. And Paxton, my God, that kid's worse enemy is his own looks. The society is so goddamn judgmental that they immediately considers nothing more than his face and assume that he is not anything more than his face as well. His entire personality is judged because he is good looking, like every other stupid silly typical rom-coms people see. But this show is just not that, it is much more relatable and this is why Paxton has a character which is in development. It has developed a lot more and he has become an extremely good person then he was in the beginning of the season where he was much more of a superficial person surrounded by the judgemental people who does not acknowledge anything more than his awesome looks. Ben on the other hand has been a jerk to Devi since a long time, called her unapologetically offensive names and he has only suffered one heart break. Paxton suffered not only a heart break, but because of his inability to admit to his own emotions it also cost him his career and his college. Even his parents is not supportive and often does not know what he wants then how can the audience be any different? Even his parents considered as him nothing more than a good looking guy in school. Ben has been an Obnoxious Hobbit as Fabiola says, and that's true. He also tries to kiss Devi when he was already in a relationship, even if you guys will not consider that being extremely hypocritical, but it was a broad ended cheating.

thank you, couldnt have said it any better. people also defend ben by saying he drove her all the way to be able to scatter her fathers ashes, but i feel like people are missing all the times devi has been in embarrassing situations that paxton has saved her from MULTIPLE times and all the times that he was there for her when she was upset and down. people really arent giving paxton any credit. hes trying hard for her, so much that he put on a suit and went to find her at the dance. his embarrassment of them going public after everything thats happened is valid and reasonable. i would have done the same. so the fact that he literally held her hand in front of all his friends took a lot of courage and i definitely think this was a turning point for him. i cant wait to see all the character development in season 3

You really said everything that needed to be said, I 100% agree. He was always there for her and she was there for him- they argued but liked eachother too much to stay apart. They had such sweet moments and all I can rlly think of to support bevi is him driving to Malibu. Apart from that they just bickered. I think they’re better as friends and daxton are endgame ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Yeah, but he doesn’t bring out the best in her, however, her and Ben bring out the best in each other, therefore they are a better ship, when this show ends, I just know that Ben and Devi will be together, they’re endgame 4 sure.

I think it was more of him being insecure. He felt like he wasn't smart enough for her. Also Devi's mom and everyone just treated him like a Dumbo and everyone cared more about him as an object rather than a person.

I don't disagree but he did have huge character development. May we also Remeber about he didn't mind being with Devi until she cheated on him. She pushes him to be better and he gets her in way I don't think Ben ever will. Like whenever she lashes out he listens and they talk whenever she goes off the rails with Ben he doesn't know how to handle it. Paxton and devi have a lot of growth ahead and aren't ready for a relationship now, but I do firmly believe that they should be endgame

It is not the same an outfit than a situation like been cheated on with another guy. I think they were so focused on Devi and how she shouldn't accept to secretly hook up with Paxton but he was right, how would he be with her again after Devi humilliated him. So that's why there were different situation and context, not the same at all.
