I was listening to the big one thinking "wow, impressive, I need a new pair of speakers, the sound is awesome". Then I realized this sound comes from my current speakers. The end.
I would buy the little one i think it is better the big one is not "better" by 2 1/2 times what it cost.. and the little one has a 3.5 mm input..for flexibility..
I have a pair of the phantom 2's hooked up as a stereo pair, I love em............................Looking at phantom 1,s but now I may just stay with what I have,,,,,, Thanks.

Btw. I have asked this from others too. But no one wants to or they do not have money. Could you please buy JBL Boombox 3 WiFi? And test it against Devialet Phantom I. Because i want to prove JBL Fanboys they are wrong! They say JBL Boombox 3 WiFi is now the best its sized speaker out there!? 😂 Yes it is the best portable bass speaker now. For example: Bang Olufsen portables go deeper, Beosound A5, but they do not have that loud heavy bass JBL has. And JBL Fans diss on other brands. Because they want bass they really do not care about sound quality. And they are salty toxic anyway. They call JBL a GOD. But Devialet. Devialet has a big opportunity. They have not made a Boombox yet. But if they ever did. Using HBI and maybe even ADH. It would absolutely destroy JBL! Hehe. But now i really want to know Devialet Phantom I vs JBL Boombox 3 WiFi. And as i said earlier they also say that JBL Boombox 3 WiFi is the best its sized speaker. I wish someone made a vs battle video. 🗿🍷
Devialet Mania has much deeper bass, but it does not have so loud bass. JBL Boombox 3 WiFi is bassier. But does not go so deep. And Mania is crazy for the size. 🥶 I wish Devialet made their own Boombox. And it would be an absolute monster. 💪😎💪
Jbl fanboys are usually kids in their teenage years, if a kid started debating you in real life would you take them seriously? If dont then why do you on the internet? Anyways, i would also love to hear a comparison between the boombox 3 and a devialet product, because i have a boombox 3 myself, and with a minor tuning, the sound quality is way superior to almost everything ive heard (in that size). To each their own i guess, for me, the brought forward 38-44hz range, minimized knocking 100-300 frequency range, with the upfront vocals as well as crystel clear yet (for me) not harsh highs, it sounds as close to perfection as it gets (of course without the bass reaching the 20Hz -ish frequencies.), but its because i dont like flat sounds. Most self proclaimed audiophiles are all for flat sounding products, and thats what i imagne the devialet sounding, as flat as it can get, with a crazy extended rumbling low bass. I would love to hear them compared, even if just on youtube
