Device to measure Tensile Strength 

On a cup of Tea discussion a person was worried about her beautiful blond Hair quality. The single Hairs broke too easily. To get her Interest I said I can easily check her Hair quality by measuring the Tensile Strength of the Hairs. She took the bait and I was immediately in trouble. Luckily I had in my personal stock equipment to build a simple measurement system for moderate pulling forces. I also got an opportunity to restore my professional skills which already had faded away. So this was a needed practice task though it took much longer time than than I expected.
