Wonderful Grand Opening and loved seeing you be recognized by a fan lol. I have never seen Jack so lively and happy (I follow him too) he was certainly in his element ❤ Both of you guys do a wonderful job
Getting tourists to a area is only half, Jack has provided a place for folks to stay in the area long enough to use local services like food and gas. Well done jack!

What a wonderful grand opening!!! Jack is hilarious. Just love his excitement & knowledge of the history of his family history. I hope some day I can visit the Hatfield & McCoy Museum. Sure is a beautiful place. Thank yo, Leo for taking us along on this special day
I gotta get up that way some day, when my grandson and brother have time to make the trip with me, and visit the museum and cemetery. A person can see and talk with Jack, if he isn't busy at the time, and visit that great museum and be where Devil Ans' house sat. What a cool place to visit. Thanks Leo for another great video!

Love seeing this - I know Bill Richardson and all his work he did in trying to improve the tourism business in the Sarah Ann/Williamson/Matewan/Pikeville area. I fell in love with the area and history. Leo - thanks for all you do for promoting and wanting to improve your community :)
This was awesome!! I was born across the line in Wytheville, Virginia, but live in NC now. I would love to visit that museum some day! You guys are such a cut up! Thank you for sharing the stories!
You are THE MAN Leo! Great stuff. IMA have to try and come see y'all. 66 and retired now in S.C.. Maybe you can help track some of my family history from that area back in the day.
Leo you looked right over the silver coins we found and the wagon spring! LOL The coal scrip you showed that was not in a case is the scrip we found on the video, along with all those canning jar lids and parts you saw.
My first serious girlfriend was from just down the road in Switzer, spent my first year out of highschool running round those parts, 4 wheeling up pine creek, was a great time to grow up back in the 90's. Has came along way the last time i saw the Hatfield cemetery was about 97, was overgrown and not properly taken care of
Great opening. Tell your cuz, if someone says they have some artifact. Ask them to donate to museum for a month or two. That way get different things in to change up for repeat customers. It cheaper than buying things all the time. Get that tree rock in to show some different dangers to mining.
This is getting pretty bad...it's 3:45 in the morning and i can't turn off the H&M videos, lol! Dang! By the time the sun comes up, I'll be looking like Devil Anse himself! These videos have me hooked❤😂
I hope you guys don't take it offensive. About the comment about the deers. If you did I'm very sorry. I love your videos. Yours truly from TN. Thank you Leo and Heather ❤
I lived on the other side of the hill from there. I frequently walked the mountain ridge as a kid. I could not go too far along that ridge until a gun shot would whizz over my head, letting me know not to go any farther. One day actually found a dead body on that ridge. I was probably twelve years old. The body was that of a midget. He was definitely dead. Had already turned dark colors and stiff. Took off for the run home before darkness came. My dad was home. He got a few men together and made the trip to the location where the body was or “where it was”. You could tell the body had been there. I still loved to walk in those hills and explore. I’m sure there are things in those mountains that I only know about.
