Excellent track from Devil Crash. This cover is actually really subpar, as I am not perfect at these kinds of styles. I covered this and a track from Thunderforce III for Famitracker forums' Demo Compo 5 and placed 5th out of 24.
listen to this on the turbo grafx 16 man, it's as it's intended to be heard over there. The game is called Devil's Crush instead of Crash over there. =)
Thank you for the good comment. One thing though. The original music is made by Toshiaki Sakoda on the PC Engine. He is the same one that made the music for games like MUSHA and Puyo Puyo on the Megadrive.
@referral madness If not Castlevania it would work in Bloodstained, but that’s a good point it would be great in shoot’em up platformer like Wild Guns.
This actually sounds quite close to the PC Engine version! (& looks like you feel that you could have done even better i.e. even closer I guess) Sure it's not only NES anymore with the VRC6 but still. Well done.

Do you have this as an .nsf for throwing into a chiptune player by chance? This is probably my favorite remake of this song, and the section starting at 1:47 sounds so sinister I love it.
this is possibly the best version of possibly the best Genesis/MegaDrive (idk about PC Engine enough to say) track. Can you make a 30+ minute looping version? Hype endless loops help me concentrate for MAKING GAMES
