It's been so fun to watch all your old videos and watch through the Lisa Kleypas readthrough! It's brought back such fond memories of these books and felt like reading them all over again :) Have you read any or all of Lorraine Heath books? I want to do a read through of her books (just the ones set in England) but I still feel like that's so many books!

Oh thanks so much! Those feel like SO LONG AGO! 🤣 I'm already in the mood for a Kleypas re-read. I've read one of Heath's Christmas novellas and I absolutely loved it! I want to read more of her backlist too, and, like you, I'd prefer the English ones. I haven't yet warmed to historical westerns. Maybe I just haven't met the right one yet. 😆

@@mamaneedstoreadromance I actually ended up reading her westerns first by accident. But I loved them so much! By the time I realized it was a western (or Texan) I was already invested. Lorraine Heath writes stories and characters with so much emotion and depth and gives you all the feels!

@@mamaneedstoreadromance the first Heath book I read was The Outlaw and the Lady. It’s set in Texas and I then went back and read the books before it about the parents. Heaths books keep building on each other so you get so much by reading in order. But if you want the books set in England I recommend starting with In Bed with the Devil.

I didn’t read this book, because I read the spoilers and it just made me mad. So I didn’t want to read the book and throw it across the room. Also I don’t like insta-lust. I’m hoping that Lisa Kleypas next book or series is more to my taste

I was a little disappointed, for sure! I think I might have held it up too high in my expectations because of my love for the rest of the series. I hear ya!
