There's something about this trailer, like many many years after i first saw it, i still seek it out form time to time, and i don't quite understand why.
Because how well the trailer was made, how the fact everything was, plus the divine hate and devils never cry remix within the trailer. Everything with this trailer was executed perfectly for the style of game dmc3 was
It shows equal gameplay and cutscenes. The music kicks ass, it basically hits all the marks of how you do a video game trailer to interest people in your game. It seems hard to understand at first considering then and now but nowadays they can show you a glossy trailer with no gameplay and get people losing their shit, but something like this is almost unheard of.
- has the best personification of enemies as the seven sins -portrays the evil of every human nature (ladys father) - has the best amount of drama but doesnt fall in soup opera (like DmC) - has the best depiction of hell limbo and heaven(for me at least) - the best motherfucking chess game ever. - the best kind of weapon diversity, doesnt feel like its just , fast but weak or slow but powerful, they are actually different. - best motherfucking cry of anger, ever. the list goes on and on.
@@sketchstevens5859 The regular enemies in the game represent the deadly sins, you can see it in the enemy files. The common enemies with the skeleton-like body, the robes and the scythe are Prides for example. The fast ones with the red clothing are Lust. The teleporting tall ones with the gray clothing are Sloths. The ones carrying bombs are Wrath etc.
@@MrVince329 Farm royal guard on queen -> Attack the king until he teleports-> Release on king -> Repeat once -> Fully charged DT explosion on king. Easy. Don’t kill any other pieces, or else they’ll devil trigger.
This trailer is easily the greatest of all time you have so much action, adrenaline pumping characters, lore its kinda hard to believe they made this in 2004
This has got to be my all time favorite game trailer. I remember watching this shit back when the game came out, and it's been stuck in my head ever since.
@@demondevilmon980 Yeah it was super cool how 15 years later they still added more stuff. Free Style mode is easily the definitive way to play this (as Dante anyway).
Adam Hartley Co-op maybe, but versus would be weird, idk, I guess I just like studying enemy attack patterns (which can't be done if the enemy is an actual person).
Recently picked up the Devil May Cry HD collection and the only Devil May Cry I’ve played before was 4 and holy shit 3 is kicking my ass so far but damn am I loving the game even though some bosses have nearly caused me to throw my controller
@@MayCryist Indeed this part is from Devils Never Cry, but the song used in this trailer also features 'Now you've really crossed the line.' Divine Hate is how people usually call this two tracks combined.
@@_xfuturetrunksx_ "Divine Hate" is Battle 2, which people have colloquially referred to as "Now You've Really Crossed the Line" because of the catchy first line. When Divine Hate and Devils Never Cry are combined the track is actually called "Loop Demo Movie" as it's listed on the Original Soundtrack.
I remember when I beat this game before. During the last fight, I tried to use different swords, even the guitar. Then I realized, only rebellion can defeat Virgil :D
Nahh, Beowulf is the best weapon to use against him in the final encounter. I recommend Beowulf and Nevan personally, since Nevan grants enhanced healing in DT and it has Air Raid
I remember it when it came out, i got tear burst when new this will come on pc. I was dreaming about this game since I saw videos about them from the magazine cds. N after decade it came on pc... maan that was one of the most epic news in my expirience LOL. still best trailer out of all dmcs imo
What kind of power is this that let this game still be good after 18 years? Like you would thought a lot of old game with outdated graphic would eventually bore fast but this…it’s timeless
This trailer is damn good, especially the first half. 0:51 I wonder who voiced the name of the game and what kind of logo is this, this is the first time I’ve seen it
i remember seeing this on tv for the first time and i actually nearly jizzed myself when I found out you can play as Vergil in this game, I went to get this game the day it came out and I'm proud to say that I practically am really good with Vergil's Yamato's Jump Cancelling and only have Vergil Must Die to SS rank. Now they are bringing the games back for PS3 soon! Thumbs up if you want this as part of the PS3 re-release of the DMC collections!
