@@dozerbull983 Eeehhh not really. Especially with Goliath, Urizen, and Vergil. Even when you're in DT form he does the exact same move without any difference compared to the move without him using DT.
Kinda disappointed DMC5 didn't have more cinematic buster moves like in 4. I'm not saying they're all bad as the ones for the higher level enemies such as Furies, Angelo, Gluttony, and Nobodies are pretty cool. But some aren't great or always put you in a position to take damage such as the headshot move for Hell Caina's. The animation for all of Urizen's forms and King Ceberus are also pretty disappointing if you ask me. But that's just my opinion since I'm always a bit critical when a new game comes out and a comparison between it and the original comes up.
@@disquietellie Huh? You can definitely fight furies, behemoth and nobodies and hell judeccas as Nero in 5 if you play on DMD. Also bloody palace lets you fight king cerberus so I don't know what you're on about.
I think bosses in DMC 4 are more satisfying and more challenging to fight that DMC 5 bosses, especially Dante and Credo. In DMC 5 I only can say the same about Vergil.
So, they traded a single, powerful disembodied demon arm and an entire stand for two weaker arms and a demon form? I woulda preferred a bit of both, to be honest-
I like it, and I think it had to be different because Nero doesn't have Yamato anymore. Not gonna lie though, I would have preferred the DT form to have some sort of "trench coat" like Dante and Vergil, and now that I think about it, they could have changed the claws for summoned swords.

You can also counter the savior punch at mission 11 you forgot about that also when berial is without his flame and he is trying to perform charge attack you can also counter buster him
you can deflect it somehow (snatch? shoot?) for green orbs, and you can buster it to throw it back. Also, alto angelo has a command where the biancos charge up a cosmic fireball or something, that can also be reflected.
Tbf, you can technically make the Yamato spirit appear during the Dante normal buster. You just have do the buster hold then DT so it'll appear during the animation
You did literally none of the counters... Echidna has her charge attack in her gold form which you can counter, Credo has the spears which can be thrown back, there's the Saviour's punch which can be countered in Sanctus' phase 2, there's the Assualts weird air spin charge which can be countered... This title is insanely misleading.
also the cool ones in 4 are more plentiful and different, while in 5 there are a solid amount of boring ones, but then the ones that are cool are much cooler than 4's
You can grab Assaults when they fly spinning at you. You can throw Angelo Credo's spear back at him. You can grab Echidna when she tries to ram you in her dragon form while she glows gold at low hp.
Me too. I think they are more flashy, varied, plenty, cool animated and just more powerful. The old Devil Bringer was more satisfying than Nero's new nerfed DT/Busters in 5...
@@dozerbull983 Saw a video...yeah you can't in pure dragon form...Only when she is in that "Desperation mode" and then she flies flies around can you intercept her.
You can grab echidna when she's trying to ram you( don't remember if she has to be with the out), you can also grab credo (air), counter the reptile while he's doing his sonic movement, or credo spears, the savior punch mission 11 I think,
There are a few attacks that you can catch with buster and get a counter out of, the only one in the vid is when sanctus is charging with Sparda but Credo and the plant lady also have one each
