Latest video for version 1.4.
It's been a long time since I made the very first video for my mod - back when I didn't even know how to change DT glows.
- Version 1.1mdf was a small update with a small video.
- Version 1.1rtr got itself a Vergil fight that almost got 200k views for some reason.
- Version 1.2 had a video mixed with two other mods.
- Version 1.3/1.31 had a shitty video with poorer quality than usual...
I had to make a decent video... I just had to. There's nothing new here unless you're not aware my mod currently sits at version 1.4 xP Sorry if I disappointed...
Besides of Flair Dante, this mod shows off some side stuff as well, namely Scudo Angelo Sword for Dante (for some reason I started liking its design recently) and recent ReShade configuration I came up with xP

I wrote DMC4 in title by accident... Sorry... Fixed ofc... x_x I'm getting lost in numbers lately... I always have to f*ck something up by the end of the day x_x Maybe it's a sign to come back to 4 for a while... xP

I mean, that Credo over Cavaliere mod you got there was awesome. Neither are the number one Angelo cause Vergil/Nelo, but both equally badass.

I kid you not. One of the first thoughts I had when dmc 5 released was: I wonder if flair will make a comeback I still come to this video every now and then 10/10

I think that the shift in sceneries is generally comfortable, but there are certain scenes in which the lighting is too amplified (specifically at 0:13). Other than that, it's beautiful.

Video is a bit pixelated, so effect doesn't look so great. It looks way better in actual game (either that or I just got used to it myself). You can tweak it yourself at any time. ReShade is very flexible plugin.

I'm having an issue where Dante's outfit will randomly switch between his pre-awakened outfit, being the black and purple that I want, and his post-awakened outfit, being a darker red version of his regular outfit, which I don't want. This happens randomly on mission start. It seems the dark red outfit is tied to Dante's "dirty outfit" files and the black outfit is tied to his regular files. Can you explain why the mods doing this and how I can make it stop? Since I would just like the black and purple. I can provide you pictures if you need.

If you didn't get it, get latest version of the mod (1.5) on Nexus. It has rearranged file structure - all versions of Dante (clean prologue, dirty 1-month later) should be using the same set of black and purple textures.

@@FlairDarkSlayer1 I am using 1.5, I should note I am also using the DMC2 Flair Patch, maybe you didn't update the DMC2 patch to 1.5's file structure?

@@DMC_Charlie Okay, found out what's the problem. Yeah - DMC2 coat is not supposed to work with 1.5 for the time being. Solution for that is easy. Open the DMC2 coat patch archive with WinRAR. Go to "natives\x64\character\player\pl0100_dante\pl0100_body" Get "pl0100.mesh.1808282334" file and copy it over to the "natives" folder inside your DMC5 installation folder. Structure there is the same - "natives\x64\..." etc. DMC2 coat patch was aimed for older versions of my mod pack and has texture mapping files (.mdf.2.10) that still use stuff from dirty outfits, which is why you get switches between colors. You can skip this and just replace the body model file (mesh.1808282334). Updated mdf files from version 1.5 should be able to get used to it and you should have standard black and purple no problem. I hope this works for ya. I'm working on another mod right now, but also plan to update this mod with few extras, DMC2 coat included, so that shitshow stuff like this won't occur. Sorry for this inconvenience \m/

I think we should have a fourth Son of Sparda, like maybe Dante and Trish's Kid, and instead of being Black/Red (Dante), Black/Blue (Vergil), or Blue/Red (Nero), he should be Purple and Black. That would be badass.

I want a Son of Mundus. I'd like to see the Sons of Sparda get some direct competition and struggle against an outside force for once. Imagine an enemy that isn't held back by family ties or human heritage. Ever since Dante 2 in 4 I've been wanting to fight someone like him again.

Alastor it would actually be neat to see Mundus follow Sparda’s example and try to create a legacy for himself or at least a powerful tool for his revenge
