Alex Hall To be fair all songs in DMC have nonsensical lyrics, like if you go look at the actual lyrics for DMC3 songs you can see that a lot of them cut into completely different sentences or use awkward wording for things. But the reason for that is to make the song itself sound better when you are just listening to it in the back ground and can't really hear the exact lyrics themselves, even Devil Trigger does this with a few lines.

He could've been bound by his purpose to beat Vergil which kept him straight, but after their rivalry ended and he became trapped in hell, it's possible that all that power may manifest consequences. I'd argue that the instrumentation is the most improved aspect of the song. The vocalist wasn't so much bad (excluding when he literally just screamed "I MUST EXPLODE") as he was entirely generic and forgettable.

Well...this isn't really what happens in the story, after Rebellion is destroyed, Dante Picks up his old sword Force Edge(currently known as Devil Sword Sparda), He makes a Journey toward his old home where he and Vergil Grew up, he then stabs what remains of Rebellion into his stomach hoping it would have the same effect Yamato had when Vergil stabbed himself, however when Dante does this, He Absorbs both the Rebellion and Devil Sword Sparda and they form a Brand New Devil Sword known as Devil Sword Dante, This also Unlocks Unlocks Dante's True Form (The Sin Devil Trigger)

The game´s still in development, so if there´s a lot of negative opinion about Suicide Silence´s Subhuman, they could maybe think in making Little V work for Dante´s theme redone. He worked for Killer Instinct, he could work for Capcom.

@@JagoShogun Honest question, what meaning do you see in the song then? To me its a song about a dude who can't hold back his dark side and thus is a demon as a result. It sounds more like a violent brutal rampage where the lyrics bravely and egotistically state that "You can not kill me! I am OMEGA!". The song is pretty nonsensical since the lyrical composition doesn't seem to fit a consistent theme and sometimes seems like it's at war with itself.

El Donte has his own theme song in Throat Full of Glass.

El Donte had an amazing OST in his game. Actually my favorite entry in the series audio wise.

Nah, El Donte would've swapped the lyric out for "superhuman" or "inhuman" or something; one of the major themes from the saga that DMC DMC missed out on was the idea that Dante sometimes sees himself as _less than_ human, despite his insane abilities. He must always keep in mind the value of being humane, since fate has denied him physical humanity. That's why he philosophies about it so much, like during his speech about the value of humans in DMC4. That's also what sets him apart from Vergil, since Vergil sees weakness in humanity due to the death of the brothers' human mother.

@Roserriah In which way did DmC miss out on that? He lives in a dumpster and leads a self-destructive lifestyle because of what he is and when push comes to shove at the end, he sides with the humanity, whereas Vergil clearly states that he considers him and Dante as superior to humanity.

SeboTrzyDe3D the engineering is better, but he nerfed the metal out of it. Worse yet, Casey Edwards is fucking up everything in the music department on this game, and I seem to be the only one who sees it.

What I got from it all, I think there might be more of a focus on Nero in the game. And for him, the song fits pretty nicely

@@midnightluna4320 The music is meant to work for the character it represents. While the game has a more Nero focused story, that doesn't stop the fact that it's Dante's song. And I don't think it fits Nero at all, really.

I think it fits dante perfectly since dante hates demons and thinks about them as lower beings compared to humanity. This song describes the self loathing he feels while he tries to control his urge to devil trigger ergo trying not to errupt, and when he finally releases the devil inside himself, ergo exploding. Hence why he also designates himself as subhuman, and as omega, basically saying that the same reason why he cant be killed is also why he cant ever be a part of human society. Nero dosent seem to hate demons as much, even though his balls to the walls demon hunting style borrows heavily from dante. This song cannot fit virgil, since he straight out embraces his demonic side, perferring to be cold, calculating, efficient, and always in search of more power. One can therefore conclude that this is a dante song.

@@rngzus4537 I disagree. Dante had gone on to accept his demon side by the end of DMC3 and went on to accept the role of Legendary Dark Knight by the time 2 came around. Besides, Nero definitely showed more self loathing over his demonic power than Dante did. Nero didn't even think himself worthy of Kyrie's love at the end of 4 because he couldn't accept his heritage.
