i like the detail, that V is still present in Vergil. When he grabs the Book and turns around to thank Nero for his help. Also, in the cutscene before Nero fights Vergil. Vergil is switching Yamato from his right to his left hand, in a similiar manner like V did with his cane before bossfights.
And when urizen said "I have no recollection of this place" when Dante told him that their mother tried to save Vergil too. It's still hard to tell which part of Vergil is Urizen and V, but it looks like Post-fusion Vergil is basically V in charge of all the power Urizen has collected.
@@sivrisinekv2444the visions of v manga says that urizen is all his human bloody and the memories vergil deemed useless went to V while urizen got all the power and demon blood
Nope. A Nobody is the empty shell that is left after the heart is removed. V is Vergil's heart as noted in Visions of V, and since he was expelled that would make him his Heartless, and Urizen his Nobody.
That random cult babe he slept with in dmc4. Her name or identity was never mentioned. They just showed her passing by him in a hood and he turned around with that "damn girl" look on his face, basically Vergil got a bit too horny slaying demons and Nero came to be.
Through Urizen Vergil gained superior power but through V he gained the humility and insight needed to use that power properly, when Dante defeated Vergil in dmc3 it wasn’t because he was stronger just smarter and more mature.
@@davidnoggins9063Dante fought and seemingly killed Vergil (as Nelo Angelo) when he was in Marley Island (DMC1). When the portal to the demon world was opened in DMC4, Vergil was able to crawl back out of the Underworld, thus enabling him to search for Yamato, for 5 years. During those 5 years, he met and lost against demons and perhaps people too, until he eventually was able to find and take Yamato back. At that point, Vergil was truly desperate, so he cut off his own son's arm, used it to re-empower himself for a little, just long enough for him to proceed with his plan to summon the Qlipoth to the human world. So the resulting demon side is the product of Vergil's and Nero's demonic power, hence the size and sheer power it had before becoming even more powerful, while the human side is the crumbling remnants of what he has gone through, empowered only by the will to live and motivated by rectifying his nightmares. Td:lr, In 5 years after leaving hell, Vergil was beat up by many demons and people, until he found Nero.
@@davidnoggins9063 This game happens some time after dmc 1, there Dante beat up and exploded Nelo Angelo, who was Vergil in devil trigger form, powered and enslaved by Mundus. So he was like that because of dante, and he couldn´t heal because Mundus, his source of power, was killed by Dante as well... Now that he´s back he is powered by the fruit.
Vergil couldn't even defeat dante after seperating his human form, cutting his son's hand ,having the fruit giving you the power to rule as the demon king
In the manga, V realized why he lost to Dante. He was far too obsessed with obtaining power that he cast aside the things that actually mattered, plus Dante's character went through a growth during DMC3 while Vergil's character did not. This is why he lost, even after eating the fruit.
As much as I love Dante and Vergil, it wasn’t until Nero showed up in Devil May Cry 4 that I really started to enjoy the games. I always knew Nero was connected to Dante somehow but I could never figure out how. I was in shock when I found out that Nero is Dante’s Nephew. Not sure how anyone can think Devil May Cry 5 is not the best one out of all of them.
Dmc 5 to the dmc community is the best game mechanics wise/graphics its the story that lost its complexity after dmc 3 and neros mechanics in dmc 4 were unfinished along with dante's campaign to boot and wasnt even made by the father of dmc... and i will say this, nero is great in dmc 5 but in 4 he was fucking boring especially compared to dante and he inevitably was completely pointless, in interviews it was stated they wanted to deviate from the twins of sparda storyline anf personality traits with nero but ultimately copped out on his origins and personality to dante, theyre different yes but still wayyyy too similar personality wise. Ultimately nero for me as a guy thats supported the franchise since birth hes just a dissapointment. We just wanted a virgil only game with 4 not a watered down version of him that took too long to gain any sort of footing. gameplay wise. Dmc 5 i feel like is when nero should've been introduced cuz hes clearly just superior in 5 story wise and gameplay wise even if i dont like his story at all accept his childhood. I know this comment is old but hope this helps in some way.
Man, the buffs the brothers got in this game are ridiculous. Vergil absorbed the blood of countless humans, while Dante absorbed the awakened Sparda. I suppose Nero got one too, but his Devil Trigger was technically always a part of him.
Dante explained to Agnus that he gave up his humanity in order to protect the ones he cares about and mankind as well and Vergil gave up almost his entire human being to become power.
It's interesting that V's hair is black and his face shape kind of looks similar to his mother's. Almost as if all the Sparda traits were completely divorced. Dante probably would've been blonde too.
Vergil may obtained greater power, turning himself into a large demon, cut Nero's arm, but in the end, Dante will always be the one that is left standing.
Simple amazing.. I can't believe what they have done with this game and how it's evolved ,it's so absolute perfect,I can't wait to play it and the next, what have they done with V and Urizent, I'm astonished.. I love the role of V .. The poem V says, then Vergil appears..
V and urizen are both vergil. Kinda like mind/soul and body respectively. kinda interesting really because mind/soul cannot continue to exist without the body as it'll fade away like a forgotten memory while the body can exist but no longer the same person he is. Basic philosophy right there.
he didn't try to save Urizen from V out of fear for Urizen, otherwise he wouldn't let V approach Urizen closer to let him "end this battle with his own hands" in the first place. He started to rush towards both of them because he realized too late that V is Vergil when V finished speaking to Urizen. Why he started to rush as if trying to stop them because Dante believed Vergil to be a lost cause after everything Urizen has done, everything Vergil has done up to this point was selfish and catastrophic ( since dmc 3 as well ) and there was no reason for Dante to think that reuined Vergil was gonna be redeemed
The power levels in this game are all over the place, lol. First Vergil separates himself to "get more powerful" so that he discards his human form. Seemingly does get WAY more powerful, because he was able to defeat Dante a bunch of times (via cutscenes). However, then he suffers from "end boss gameplay mechanic" syndrome, and gets defeated anyway. Then he recombines himself the way he was originally, and is...some how even more powerful. How is he stronger than ever before, when he's right back to square one before he separated himself?
Lmao you don't pay attention to the story do ya. Qlipoth fruit is very powerful. Trish stated that mundus consumed it to gain power and rule the underworld. That why sparda prevented it from manifesting Inthe human world. Vergil's goal was to be able to manifest the said fruit for power. That's why he became equal again to Dante's current power. Despite Dante gaining more power from the rebellion.
Imagine urizen is like a big chunk of power that fight like a wild animal, And with V- the mind, that big chunk of power can now be concentrated into one point
Vergil realized than no matter how much He tried to obtain more power by separating His weak Human Side from His Devil Side in order to discard His weakness along with His traumatic past, was no enough for him to become more powerful. By V fully merging with Urizen, it made Vergil to return back and by discover than Nero is His son and being defeated by Him, He finally overcome his traumas by accepting both what He consider His Humanity Weak Side along with His Devil Heritage.
Actually him rejecting his human half made him weak Urizen even with the qliphoth fruit wasn't enough against dante who had absorbed the sword of sparda and rebellion But when Urizen powered by the fruit combined with V and made Vergil, he was equal to Dante Also he technically didn't overcome his traumas (his trauma is mainly when he was mundus's slave) when they separated, his trauma took form in Griffon, Shadow, and Nightmare But when they combined, the three refused and instead went after dante so that he could kill them, which removed not only the trauma but the memories that caused them as well
Vergil also cares for dante he never want kill him truly because in the earlier game dmc 3 or other when they first fight vergil is too op for dante if want then he can kill dante also when he was controled by mundus in their first fight he almost kill dante until he saw dante amulet and remember dante is his brother vergil has many opportunities to kill dante but he never bcs he just want to defeat him
Consumed by hatred & power damn . I would’ve loved a game that you get to play as there father Sparta for once or maybe as all 6 Vergil ,Dante ,lady, trish , Nico ,Nero if they’re able to add her as a playable character kyrie now tell me that wouldn’t kick ass ppl
Well, V is Vergil true human side, right? V look so weak. And maybe that's why Vergil never stop fighting to increase his perfection level. He never said enough for battle among demon and Dante it self. Dante seems become Sparda reincarnations. Maybe it's the reason why Vergil can't stop take all things to kill dante. He knew Dante's pure power and he didn't have what he want the most. Just imagine thousand battles against Dante, become stronger in every battle until finally he got Dante's power. He will became a true demi-demons and always grew stronger. Maybe this is why Mundus didn't want any bussiness with Vergil.
How come nero is vergil’s son? Then who is his mom? And my theory just popped in my head was like : “Did dante lie to nero, saying the fact that nero was vergil’s son as an excuse to fight vergil?”
Even if he shot V. V is already top of urizen I'm sure v will force himself just to reunite with Vergil. Dante could have prevented this if he killed v from the beginning. But didn't. Also to point out in the end DMC 3 dante still shows that he still cares for Vergil. He was crying in the end of DMC3.
@@Toxin-fx2jn what I don’t understand is that v literally explains the guilt he has for his crimes against the world. Yet ends up becoming one with urizen to make the original Vergil. Like I thought v was the good part of Vergil but he just fuses with urizen to become the original Vergil who is still power hunger right? Shit so confusing lmao
I didn't say what with nero as in "what? vergil is his dad" I said what as in what the fuck do you mean it doesn't concern him dante?? if that's his dad then it should very well concern him
V is a human half of Vergil, but he is not look like Vergil. Urizen is a demon half of Vergil, but he is not look like Vergil's demon form. Where's logic?
Don't think so, I think when they seperated into two bodies the facial features formed alternate bodies based on them possibly, so when they reformed as one, It looked just like Vergil. I could be wrong but you get what I'm trying to say.
@@XanderMarshall that's cause Vergil spent time in the Underworld and there the body doesnt decay, so Vergil kept young cause of his slavery as Nelo Angelo and was freed by Dante unknowngly.
I can assure you it's not easy. It has six difficulties, Human(Easy), Devil Hunter(Normal), Son of Sparda(Hard), Dante Must Die(Very Hard), Heaven and Hell(everything, including you dies in one hit), Hell and Hell(you die in one hit and enemies and bosses are in Son of Sparda difficulty).
