Vergil's movement is cleaner, but Vergil got some pretty decent moves as well. Vergil's slash focus on speed and precision, while Vergil's movement is more fancy but a little bit sloppy, lack the demonstration of strength and power sometimes. Same thing goes with their design, Vergil still maintain the nobility feeling while having a more battle theme outfit, whereas Vergil seems more like someone you'll see in a banquet. Personally, I prefer Vergil over Vergil.

Most people hate on DMC yet they haven't even played it , the combat in it is extremely good and makes it one of my favorite games , the only bad thing about it is the personality changes I suppose but besides that , great game

Wasn't expecting to like reboot Vergil as much as I did. I think there's good things about both characters!

If the developers of DMC 2013 rolled out a sequel, then I think that Virgil would be more or less similar to the Virgil that was shown in part 3 of the original game. I think so, because at the end of the supplement Virgil became more serious and he became Motivated, namely to surpass Dante and gain POWER. And by the way, I like how the developers made Virgil look more like the original with his hairstyle and if Ninja theory had a chance, the sequel would be like part 3.

I see, some of DMC5 Vergil moveset elements taken from DmC's Vergil, like Trick to the single Summoned Sword, or extended Yamato combo, then the Doppelganger which has its modes (Demon, Angel, and Normal in DmC, and Slow, Haste, etc in DMC5) and the perfect JCE also taken from DmC But I hope the DmC Vergil can be used in Story Mode just like DMC5 Vargil but yeah....

Let's be real DmC Vergil's moveset is more creative and unique in its own way even though it get restricted due to lack of locking mechanism potential (Which Donte shares the same flaw as well), still it's a fun character to play or even mastered with. DMC5 Vergil is indeed perfect yet overrated,all it does is mixing between the DMC 3~4 movesets with the DmC doppelganger DT,also giving the other og weapons(force edge+Beowulf) a special attack. It just isn't that impressive and fresh when you compare it with DmC Vergil,or even DMC3 and DMC4 at that time. Yeah but I guess those brain-dead OG Polices wouldn't give a shit about DmC and keep blind hating it anyway. Criticizes DMC5 won't be allow,thus DMC5 Vergil is the only good vergil,fuck you DmC.

Just going to point out if you want to do a comparison vid, might want to deactivate any mods. Superman Vergil is a boss attack exclusive and very obvious. DMC5 Vergil is still obviously superior, but still all the same for fairness's sake.

Dmc 2013 is such an underrated game its nay of destroyed original Dante and vergil, but in the 2013 game, u can definitely see the difference between them. They don't both have blond hair, but it's really a good game made by ninja theory people just didn't like the changes to Dante

If you want to compare DMC5 Vergil to any other Vergil, use DMC4 Vergil. They have pretty much the same moveset.

Think of Dante vs Vergil struggles like Superman and Zod from the Man of Steel movie. Vergil: "Mankind is weaker than us." Dante: "Mankind is equal to us." Vergil: "You choose them over your own flesh and blood?" Dante: "I would do what a coward refused to do once."

Not gonna lie reboot Vergil is pretty good to play with those combos and abilities are nice but dmc 5 Vergil is a lot better like A LOT you got Yamato beowulf and mirage edge

Для меня Данте в 5 части слабым персонажем оказался. Он никакого развития не получил. Неро и Вергилий получили развитие своих персонажей. А Данте каким был таким и остался. Может быть это и не так плохо. Но мне кажется он из-за этого на фоне других плоско и картонно выглядел. Я понимаю, что есть персонажи которые особого "развития" как личности не требуют. Но у меня вызывал мощнейший диссонанс более взрослый облик Данте и то, что он остался таким же каким был в молодости. Это было бы неплохо, если бы к примеру те же Неро и Вергилий не ушли намного дальше своих старых версий в ментальном плане. И из-за этого в них как персонажах появилась глубина. Которая придавала им большую реалистичность как личностям. Тогда как Данте на их фоне получился плоским и ощущался обезличенным. Будто картинка персонажа, а не живая личность. Мне кажется, что опыт 2013 года ещё негативно на это повлиял, что они побоялись хоть как-то изменить образ Данте. Я например просто влюбилась в нового Кратоса. И было бы мне кажется интересно если бы у Данте появилась семья в виде дочери или сына. Для которой/которого Неро допустим был бы фигурой старшего брата. И дети Данте и Вергилия сплотили бы своих отцов как семью. Дали бы им снова ощутить себя родственниками, близкими друг другу людьми. И наконец-то примерить их между собой. Показывая их пройденный путь и осмысление их затяжного противостояния. И в свою очередь наличие ребенка Данте сделало бы его более ответственным, что нашло бы отражение в его геймплее(бью наверняка, чтобы враги чувствовали, что я с ними всего лишь играю и им нельзя нападать на мою семью). Я думаю это бы превратило и так шедевр в еще больший шедевр. И новый более зрелый на вид Данте запал бы в душу намного большему количеству людей. Как тот же Верджил.

There's one thing I've always despised about Remake Vergil (beyond the story) and it's the sound of his sword. It is weak AF. Like, 3's and 5's sound loud, crisp and clean - the sort of sinister sound that makes your hair stand on end when you're Dante running around at 1 HP. Remake Vergil? I felt none of that.

For the Judgement Cut, DmC Vergil’s looks a bit anticlimactic, because of the small interval between the unsheathing of the Yamato and the after attacks, While Dmc5 Vergil has no improvises, just POWER and speed. And the small interval only occurs for DmC Vergil, while the Dmc3, 4 and 5 all had perfect timing. Playing dmc2 is better than DmC
