So many people around him and they just let him drink and smoke so much, and some of them participated. This is very sad. He still looked so good for a person who drank and smoke heavily, and to be 57! At his age, no one can tell you anything, but I wish someone could have stepped in and interfered because this is not good. I feel like he knew that it was his struggle and a sickness, but by then it was out of control for just him to help himself. It’s never a happy ending when your favorite star passes from drugs or it being a contributing factor. I hope his soul is now free from addiction and in the hands of God. We love Shock
As a recovering alcoholic there's nobody on earth that can talk u into stopping if you yourself don't want to.. I'm sure he was probably told somethin by ppl that loved him.. But u can't force any1 to do anything.. Alot of times that shit can drive u away into the open arms of a bottle

I find it funny how many times Willie D said n!gga yet told a story how he had to check Aries Spears for referring to him as n!gga one too many times. I guess he feels differently about it these days.
Funny thing is I grew up on Geto Boys and that whole era, but it was always Bushwick Bill, Scarface and that other dude lol. But Willie D been the most visible member for about a decade.
