I mean... Did we expect a different outcome? The closest thing to a surprise in this match was round 1, and in the end it didn't even matter. John will always be the GOAT, undeniably, but he was out of his depth with this match-up, big time.

He dominated rookies, school teachers, farmers, mechanics etc, you can't be the greatest if you're not the best, he has a losing record against 10+ people and considered the goat? He has wins on denis, andrey pushkar, arsen lillev, devon, and every other top Armwrestler across multiple decades. There is a reason why the consensus among top Armwrestlers is that John is the GOAT. And no, he is not the strongest he has ever been right now. He is 60 years old. You want the strongest version of John Brzenk, look at the late 90s-early 2010's. Which, might I add, is a period of two decades. NO Armwrestler has ever been around in the sport as long or as dominant as John. Prior to his loss to Travis Bagent at worlds, Alexey Voevoda had not lost a single match in 5 years. Every generation has their Levan that goes unbeaten for an extended period of time. The difference was, until a few years or so ago (age catches up to everyone) John was always within shooting distance of the world title for his weightclass, and for many decades was close to, if not #1 in the world. When Levan sticks around at the top for another 20-ish years, then I'll be comfortable calling him the GOAT. Until then, it's John.

That's absolutely meaningless, getting pins on weaker versions of elites, it's just as odd as saying sasho andreev is the goat because he destroyed john. Yes he is the strongest he has ever been, he himself said it before kott6, the weightcut to 95 kg surely made him weaker but he was the strongest he had ever been before that. Voevoda can't be compared to levan, the competition then was really fragile, who did he actually beat that would be a threat in current top 10? No one. And btw voevoda lost to svetan gveshevski, a lighter guy way before losing to travis in the 5 year time period you mentioned. John was NEVER even close to being no.1 for 5 years let alone 20 years, that too in weaker competition. I mean seriously, ermes got so much hype and popularity for just stopping levan, have you seen such a thing for the countless dudes who absolutely demolished john? No! You have not. People are scared to pull levan to not get injured or don't even try, while many tried and even won against john. Not the same case as levan. John needs to be no.1 RIGHT NOW in atLEAST two weight classes (95 kg and 105 kg) and should've been consistent for 40 years straight up (he didn't armwrestle for almost 15 years in his 25 year run made up by his fans) To be even in this conversation with levan.
