Modern inventions have to most of the world been very innovative and very beneficial but in Trinidad & Tobago, the uses for which they were intended i.e to promote transparency and /or accountability, go against the grain for the intended user.
Thus sadly, the inventions are abused, misused or just plainly not used by the intended users, especially inventions like port scanners (customs) and body cams (police) meant to act as a check and balance re illegal activity.
In this sense those inventions have thus been rendered totally useless in the Trini setting.
