I was looking for a cordless option so bought one with a portable extractor for 184 quid from Screwfix for climbing to high spots on ladders ect. Together they aren't bad, but not great indoors, the extractor is weak . Should i bother with the larger cordless Dewalt T stack one or would folks say a Mirka is best overall for true dustless? cheers.
I absolutely love my Dewalt orbital sander and use it all the time , i have had it connected to a vac at times but for most of my needs i just use it with the little dust bag . Great bit of kit.
Had one for a couple of years, good tool. Definitely invest in the rapid charger if you're using the 5 amp hour batteries. They'll take forever to charge on the standard charger so you'll be waiting around if you're rotating them. I mainly use mine for scratching top coats of fibreglass roofing before recoating or sanding rough fencing timbers etc. and its a little work horse to be fair. 👍
I have the dewalt orbital and sheet sander great bit of kit gets me out of trouble. The mirka deros will be my next investment though for the bigger jobs need to save my penny’s for that one!
Hi i had a Dewalt plug in but the pads kept falling after only 3 uses. I hoovered the loop bad and brushed incase of dust built up but i had only used it 3 times. Could it be anything i was doing wrong?
Had mine a while, can't fault it for light use, larger areas mirka and extractor for light use this beaut, great price for a really good cordless sander where the battery actually lasts
Mine didn't come with the t stak, batteries or charger, weren't bothered about the charger and batteries because I have a fair few but wish mine came with the case
