We’re seeing if one of these DeWALT lights can earn a place in our lives. Does it past the test for camping, home duty’s and work? Time will tell but we first need to see who in fact built these DeWALT lights (dcl182, dcl183).
I like the fact that whatever mode you are using, when you turn it off, then go to use it again it's in the same mode and you don't have to toggle constantly. Plus if it's on more than 5 seconds it's shuts directly off, no toggling between modes.

That is a really good question. I believe the dcl183 flash light style back could be removed. The lanyard style probably is split in two under the over mold. Good question though.
