I have a Kobalt 1/2 inch 24v impact cordless, and its awesome!! But I do find it cumbersome due to it being big and bulky. I got this dewalt due to it being smaller, alot more compact than the Kobalt, yet powerful!! I'm glad I have it due to all these great reviews I keep seeing.
for anyone that owns this wrench can you test and confirm if precision mode has variable speed. I have just bought one and I get variable speed in modes 1 to 3 but NOT in precision ?

I have one with a detent pin so I can't verify but I believe there is an o-ring under the hog ring which keeps it from slopping around. Google dcf894 manual and look up hog ring replacement parts or RU-vid replacement video
