Ava wanted to get revenge on Sonny and Kristina, but she seriously messed up. Ava had a temper tantrum because she got called out by Kristina and banned by Sonny. Alexis can be deadly when someone messes with her family members, especially her daughters.
I don't understand how Ava thought she could get away with doing this, without anyone knowing it was her. She was banking on the fact that DeWitt would keep her secret, and that Natalia wouldn't remember a conversation she had with Ava merely weeks ago. It's not like the convo happened a year ago where Natalia might not remember... also not sure why she thought the risk of outing Sonny's daughter and pissing him off was a good idea. I get she was trying to drive a rift between Natalia and Sonny, but I don't think the reward outweighed the risk here. Kind of sloppy on Ava's part. I do, however, like that we have the real Ava Jerome back.

Is Maura West leaving the show? She phoned in that entire performance- and I can’t blame her. This plot is a lousy execution- Sonny defended the woman who is prejudice against his daughter? Meanwhile Carly is third tier now. How lovely. 😐 The only thing I can think of in this scenario, Ava will set Sonny up - then it’s Who shot Ava? Natalia? Kristina Alexis Nina Or Sonny? None of that is appealing. None of it. So Michael Knight is off screen Stuart Patrick is on rotten into a corner because they had to give Sonny a colossal rewrite Cameron Mathieson is written into a corner- neither Carly nor Drew have had interesting story since their breakup for Jason- and Carly isn’t even being paired with him. Michael Easton is gone Dex is hardly on anymore And Trina is being paired with Gio- yet they haven’t fully developed her character. This is a mess. Lorre needs to do a 180 flip with a natural disaster that puts the correct characters in orbit- Carly is in the SAME storyline she was with Drew except HE went to prison for her. But she’ll go to prison for Jason? None of the characters are adult here. When Maura West phones in a performance- you know it’s bad writing.

Spell check is trifiling with Grammarly and RU-vid- For the “errors” “Lorre” is supposed to be Korte and “rotten” is supposed to be “written into a corner.” I am in college (graduate in December) writing screenplays, pilots, and commercials. Why is GH reusing scripts from twelve months ago with alternate characters? That’s a no no guys- I’m taught the opposite. I’ve watched this show since I was a kid- wrote fanfics regarding it- But my fan ish behavior ends when it comes to the writing. You guys took some risks- but then you just erased three years of growth to character development and there wasn’t any reason to. I’m waiting for the drop in scenes- like today’s with Alexis. Or With Blaze and Christina with Sasha- who should be the Face of Deception- but isn’t. Or with Ava and Scott- and Carly and Jocelyn- drop in and filler- every scene was a drop in scene so I don’t know where you plan on taking it- yet- but guns fired at Ava I do not like. At all. This is summer not fall preview yet- there’s supposed to be a wrap up- instead- it’s convoluted, and has too many plot holes. Put Carly back with Drew-- it worked, Carly could be the future wife of a congressman--with a mob past- Drew and Jason fight why? They have no scenes and THAT MAKES ZERO SENSE. Drew is NOT AJ. Drew is better than Jason because he’s the NAVY SEAL! Not the hitman. Get it together writers!
What Ava did was wrong. But I am getting a little tired of the writers constantly writing Ava as a vililan it is constantly being done in this show the never really give her a chance to fully learn from her mistakes as they do others and I get we need a bad guy but does the bad guy always have to be her I haven't really been a fan of Ava I liked her brother alot more but come on with all the new people constantly coming in you guys could do alot better with the writing not just for Ava.
