I’m on my second one due to the first one not working. I’m literally doing a brisket right now and using the second one for the first time. I’m having the same issue’s. It works for a few minutes but then it stops reading it.

Thank you for your review, but unfortunately it doesn’t tell me what I need to know. Apparently the thermometer needs to be inserted up to the black safety ring (?), and you can’t do that with smaller meats. I bought this thing so I could close the lid and walk away. I’m guessing you can’t do that.

I bought one and it was 4-5 degrees off, right out of the box. Frustrating because I was foolish enough to wait 40 days after purchasing to try to return it but Amazon says it was beyond the 30 return window. I tried to contact Dewjom but no response. Any help with what to do would be great??? Toss it in the trash????

i searched the app store for "meat thermometer" and scrolled through dozens of apps, probably 20 or more of them being apps for wireless meat thermometers.
