I went to school in Dexter. also, I've lived 82 years. There have never been any shootings of the mentally ill in my lifetime except in recent years. Where's the training? This isn't the military, you're to serve the people. If you can't come up with ideas on how to handle the mentally ill, get out of the police force.
He's a drug addict. He was likely high on crystal. Dexter is also a small town, so their experience with these types of situations is very limited. But yes, they made many mistakes.

@@Ajani_Hyena apparently I didn't understand your comment then. You said, learn there's a taser use your tasor If you have to, because you weren't aware he was tasored twice. "Use your taser" sounds like they didn't. Which they did.
