After learning jamming techniques and training on horizontal cracks in Tom's cellar, Anna applies her skills to the vertical world of crack.
Although horizontal to vertical is not the typical progression in crack climbing, a little mentoring from Tom and Anna's natural ability for all things rock seems to be a perfect recipe for progression.
Join in for tips on pro placement from Tom Randall, laughs, and pure entertainment ass Anna takes on Dexterity (E1 5b) at Milestone Edge in the Peak District.

This is a really good vid. No bullshit, redbull, crap music. Just the real thing as climbing should be. Just down to the core. Real fear, real scare, and just learning. Both had faces of seious for some moments, but still the happiness and joy for one self and each other. Just pure and good. Just real as climbing actually is. Thanx! Do more of these.

Lol that stabilization when she tops out is so gooey. Good vid, love trad content stuff especially when people are newer to it and pushing their limits.

Love the trad content. With experience you'll be able to visualize potential stances and placements. Where you see good jams is where you'll want to be moving.

Thoughts: great place to climb! Tom is a wonderful teacher. And Anna has a great energy that I think could take her into all kinds of other content like traveling and new sports etc (not that I mind the climbing content!).

yep, severely under-represents the skills of learning about gear and deciding when leading

Cool vid and great location but why the jeans? So restrictive to leg movement - almost the last thing to climb in. Helmets - useful in a fall but even better in protecting against stone fall from above. Especially from a camera-person!

WTF are you doing up there without a helmet? It is fine on overhung sport climbs but not cracks. Pro climbers get brain damage too. Ask Pal Pritchard how hard it was.

cool video and charasmatic climber, but these videos are dangerous. don't try this at home. she doesn't understand how to place/preserve the gear. he makes out like she does and it's dangerous to copy this. she's more honest about it than him. to stay safe when learning trad climbing, it takes time to build a knowledge base of moves and gear placement's. it's not sports climbing and certainly not indoor. cool video though

Anna has knocked off multiple E9s\E10s, she is climbing an E1 in this video. The climb is so far below her usual performance level it's basically a path.
