Il solo pensare che Dexter Wansel ha prodotto "Life on mars" 46 anni fa rende l'idea di che livello musicale stiamo parlando, grande musicista, cantante e produttore, era l'anima visionaria del Philly sound! Ho 62 anni e la prima volta all'epoca ( ho tanti amici coetanei famosi dj italiani) che ho ascoltato questo pezzo nei Clubs sono rimasto folgorato, ha un tiro da paura, ehhh bei tempi!!!!! Ringrazio Dio di aver vissuto il periodo ( disco/ soul/ funky,new jazz) più grande della storia della musica, Dexter ne era un esempio! Long life Mr. Wansel!

dexter wansel is one of my favorite musicians of all time. I prefer the space-themed jazz-funk but go out of my way to listen to anything he's contributed to, which is a lot. thanks mr. wansel, you're one of my heroes and I hope I can see you perform live someday.

It was the early eighties when my brother and I were gifted this album by our cousin JayStar who was a Philly radio dj at the time. Life On Mars was an instant hit in our house. Amazing then, and still going strong now. Thank you, Dexter Wansel!

My brother and I had a record shop discovered your music in the late 70s mid. It was a Life on Mars albums we know this we love the sound of Philadelphia we saw that it was a Philly International and being the ordinary white dudes that we were we love that kind of music so we bought your album and we're blown away

Very disappointed with this cameraman. Hardly any focus on the main person Dexter, then shows the 2 backup singers for the entirety of the guitar solo.
