This is safer and easier to use than my previous run with kurusame and paine for Edgar FR carry. Still petrify is very annoying to deal in the start of the fight.
If the boss act while Red aura is activated then it's instant kill for party. You can't remove red aura because you need Edgar debuff and def ignore skill for them to reduce the aura, and you have to do all of that during summon so they can't increase aura during that (because they increase aura if any unit you have with overhead stack 5+ and if you're using quina then frog stack kinda ruin it). Summon attack is def ignore and first skill after summon is also as well (this is a bug so you can abuse it) so you already removed 2 auras this way, after that let Edgar use LD for instant and def ignore aoe for the kill. TLDR: save the summon and just have both bosses at 1% > use summon > use any aoe skill > use 2 more def ignore aoe skill for the kill.
This isn't working for me at all.... I get em to 1% doing the same exact thing and they don't die completing the last challenge Nvm I got it thanks for the run
Tbf you don't need Cor BT or maybe FR so LD is enough because the only reason I used Cor here is for a lot preemptive damage he can do. Now I think having someone like auron because he have Def ignore counter is 2nd best here.
Boss FR effect is -500% mbrv and there's 3 ways to bypass that: You can go with a full mbrv aura party (For example there's Garnet, serah or sherlotta) to bypass that. Use quina BT to always deal max Damage. Use def ignore FR to cancel boss FR.
@@mzpro2 thanks! I managed to get a B...which is actually the farthest I've ever gotten. My team (Raines, Sharlotta, and Edgar) was running out of steam, and as my first real attempt at a shinryu, so was I lol
Managed to Clear the Stage using your strategy many thanks! Altho when I used the Rydia Call it only increased the gauge by 1% instead of 43% I dont know why lol.
