On the 4th of July we had a 5 hour layover in the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. We challenged ourselves to visit 5 different lounges in one layover. We started our day in Ontario California where we had breakfast at the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 4. Thanks to travel hacking and th Daily Drop newsletter we we were able to get lounge access with credit card and airline perks.
During our 5 hours at DFW we visited 2 Admiral Clubs, the Plaza Premium Lounge, Club DFW, the American Flagship Lounge and Rich added a bonus lounge and visited the Centurion Lounge.
We then boarded our business class flight to Heathrow were we were able to visit the LHR American Arrival Lounge before heading into London.
It was a great way to spend a portion of our 24 hour travel day.

I live in Dallas, and my next London trip is business class, so I was curious about the arrival lounge at LHR. No amount of online search helps quite like seeing a video on it. Thank you!

Glad it was helpful. They also have showers at that lounge which is nice if you won’t get to a hotel for a while. Have a safe trip.

Great video - thanks for providing the insight into Admiral's Club. Most of all, thank you for saving me $79. I was going to get a one-day pass but I think I can easily find a decent meal (and some good wine) for less.

Thanks, ya the Admiral clubs definitely are worth the membership. But access to the Flagship Lounges is a must do if you have access.

I bought two 1-day passes for the admiral's lounge for my wife and her best friend that was traveling with her. They were denied access at the lounge counter in Charlotte, N.C. due to the lounge "undergoing some construction" while others were being admitted to the lounge with no issues. Found out after researching further that 1-day passes have the lowest priority for lounge access and the policy is if the Admiral's lounge has any construction going on at all 1-day pass holders are automatically denied access. That is messed up because the 1-day passes expire after 1 year and are non-refundable.

That is horrible. I would want my money back if the pass was denied. Or dispute the charge with your credit card company.

if you are on a AA international business class ticket.. you should have used the AA Flagship lounge in Dallas.. it's much nicer.. The guys at the normal admirals should have told you guys qualified for the better lounge..

The Flagship was the last lounge we visited. Since we had a 5 hour layover we decided to try all the lounges available to us. 😀
