This is an excellent recipe, thank you for sharing it. I have many dal recipes, but this one stood out for its simplicity. I was not feeling well a few days ago, so I made this and it was perfect. It was easy to eat and digest, but it’s not bland at all. It was full of flavor and is the best comfort food. Not only is it warming and comforting, it happens to be nutritious at the same time. I will make this recipe over and over again, I am sure of it.

Mere appartment me due to water quality toor daal pakne me bohot jyada time leti hai. So i usually opt for mungdal. This is a wonderful option to make dal fry with mungdal. Thanks!

As always an amazing dish !!! I would like to give a small suggestion here Sir. Please add about 10 grains of methi seeds when you boil the dal in the cooker. This will help in reducing any ill effects of vaata in the dal. It will not make the dal bitter as the methi seeds will be well cooked, it fact it will add a very subtle flavour. This method of adding 10 seeds of methi to any dhuli huiy dal can be used - at the boiling stage. It will also help people with issues of blood sugar. Do try and let me know. Dhanyavaadah.
