Good for you man....I have been to the same biryani place, was awesome. Go to the pier and take the overnight steam ferry to Khulna. Then book a tour to see the bangle tigers in the mangrove. You can book from Dhaka itself as well....

Hi Jordan. This place would give me total anxiety. If you went through that water you would have needed shots so you wouldn't get sick. That sweet shop looked amazing. You can visit Cox's Bazar (the world's longest sea beach), Saint Martins, Chittagong Hill Tracks, Sylhet, Sundarban (World's largest mangrove forest), and many other places. You'll find less crowd and more natural beauty there. 😊

old dhaka is 400 years old...we dhaka people go to old dhaka only for food and to visit historical places. And it would have been better if you would have visited old dhaka during weekend, that is Friday to avoid crowd. Old dhaka is the most crowded area in Dhaka, though new dhaka is more wider and less crowded than old dhaka.

Yah it’s very difficult in old cities during the rainy season because of the old infrastructure that wasn’t renovated so the draining system isn’t good for heavy rains. It’s better to not visit old Dhaka during the rainy season. Tho other new places have better draining systems, and outside Dhaka it’s not a problem.

Bro I can't believe you made it out alive from old Dhaka all by yourself! 😂😂 Try visiting places outside Dhaka next time, it's a lot greener and less chaotic. So many influencers, tourists visiting this city and the Locals doing nothing to improve hygiene situation.. I find it pretty sad.. the city can be crowded but why they don’t keep their city clean!!! Everyone’s responsibility is to keep the city clean.. All you BD ppl out there.. take a pledge this New Year to practice hygiene and make all to ensure a clean Dhaka. I was horrified to see how ppl spat on streets and throw garbage everywhere! Make your City a Clean one in 2023 !
