The Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta is always my favorite Sutta. Anyone who can grasp in depth this sutta could understand the whole teaching of the Buddha. Sadhu x3 for uploading.
Very melodiously chanted. It takes me to a meditative state. The drums spoil the serenity, not a criticism, but beating on an animal skin is something we have inherited from the culture of Indian kings who ruled our country. When I listen to the chanting I feel as if I am in Migadaye itself. So soothing, Thank you so much and much merits to you for uploading.🙏🙏🙏
Drums were already present in Sri Lanka with the indigenous Vedda peoples. Drumming, or making a beat, in some form is something common to every culture. More “Indian” forms of drums were brought over by the Sinhalese migrants and Tamil migrants to the islands, who both came from India. Hindu and Buddhist alike. It doesn’t spoil the serenity in my opinion; it just shows that it’s something sacred because drums and music were used to honour holy things in south Asia’s past.
I am so impressed to hear this sutta in a very great voice and accent. It is really very meaningful and make the listeners feel very calm and thoughtful. Whole meaning of life and vanity of running after worldly lushes is there, if we can listen to each word carefully. I am seriously thinking of the philosophy behind and how Lord Buddha is explaining as to how we should understand the reality of life with a clear vision. Thanks for publishing this in social media enabling everyone to listen.Thanks.
Dhammachakka pravattak sutta SANGHAYANA (CHANTING BY THERAVADA) is really HEART TUTCH , arise the emotions of humanity. When I was a SHAMANER (2013 / 2014) I was staid at MULAGANDHA KUTTI BUDDHA VIHARA, SARNATH , all monks sanghayana this sutra every day. Many occasions of my eyes full of tears. A venerable monk SHIVALI mahatgera was in charge monk of MAHABODHI SOCIETY OF INDIA, NOW VEN.MONK IS GENERAL SECRETARY OF M.S.OF INDIA, advise to study of this sutta and he taught me HEART TUTCH LESSON OF DHAMMACHAKKA PRAVATTAN SUTTA. Then after
Then after I search on RU-vid. All the sanghayana of DHAMMACHAKKA PRAVATTANAA SUTTA LISTEN. But by THERAVADA sanghayan is easy to understand. Each words of sutta is clearly pronounced by Ven Monk. And it is very easy to understand. Mind isolating and our brains are more and more powerful in humans like like a bhikhu. I respect and my thrice salutation to him. I obliged to theravada and ven, monk shivali mahathera who taught real heart of sutta. I become glad and happy peacefully by mind, socially religious and familiarity. It's the way of buddhism. everyday I am LISTENing THERAVADA SANGHAYAN. SUTTA, VANDANA, AND ALL. NAMO MEITREY BUDDHA.
This is my favourite I like it so much when ever I hear it I picture I am in India inside the temple where the banthes chant it at 7 o’clock every night Budusaranie Hema Dissanayake.
excellent chanting. make you feel peaceful. it also gives enough pause to contemplate the meaning between every words. only negative comment is the sri lankann traditional drum bit after each sadda manusa vesum. please get rid of that. then it will flow to the very end of chanting peacefully. thank you so much. this is the best Dhamma chakka chanting i have ever found. Viraj from Australia
