Can anyone clarify moving up and down while also moving right to left, shoulders, arms? To cover every part of the body, do you focus attention simultaneously on more than one part at a time?
It’s up to your ability to focus 😊 sometimes, when there’s so much storm, you can’t really focus simultaneously, so you try to keep moving on with equanimity one part at a time. For example, if you’re moving down and can only feel the body part then better go for it then start again up to down with both arms or just one arm at a time xD

Either way don't matter Prana is different There's so many different schools it's ridiculous and they believe everyone is born with unique powers or at least collective subsets Or you can go to the metaphysics route and try to go for the old stuffs

To learn this meditation in the proper way, one needs to apply for a 10day (that's the minimum) course and learn the technique gradually over this period...there are no short cuts...as an old student, I can assure you that if you try to learn this "online" or pay for a shorter course someone offers you, you will most definitely not get the benefit of this amazing teaching which is passed on free of charge at proper courses.... boarding and food are free for students and paid for from donations made by grateful old students wishing for others to benefit. You can find many centers on the Vipassana website...all you have to Google is Vipassana courses in your country... wishing you good luck!

Dhamma will get to you, at the right time Also see if you can listen to the 10 day course of Goenka to get insights. You may miss out the cleansing of your mind by being there in the center on that course, but it will get you started
I had the same. I asked my teacher about them. My teacher said we all had those thoughts. They are sankaras which try to distract us. Don't give them importance. As soon as you're aware that you wander with your thoughts, come back to observe the sensations immediately.
Mind is like sky thoughts are like birds and clouds. It's normal that it will arise and be there. What is important is how we react to them. Acknowledge that they are there, come back to breath. It takes a long time to train the mind to the point where it is just mind. Been doing Vipassana for 17 years and still learning everyday ✨
Good that thoughts are being observed, eventually the psychosomatic connection between thought and sensation will appear and disappear, no matter what happens thoughts or not thoughts, sensations or no sensations, continue with the practice, different levels will unfold in due course....

Can anyone help? If current life new and old sankhara is eliminated, what about those sankhara of previous life, we have many previous life too??? how are they eliminated? If we keep eliminating it will never end because we have live throught thousand if not hundred of life times.
I will suggest you to forget about the previous lives sankhara and focus on eliminating the old sankhara that arrive in the present vip meditations and avoid multiple sankhara (create new sankhara) . Allow the Dhamma to work.
If you start counting these, of course, you will never end. Strat doing and achieving the goal, you will discover. Travelling inward requires no argument which is futile because you have not experienced and Not known. SO be Silent.
