Contacting the police when you know your child did something is one thing - actively manipulating and probably traumatizing your child by faking yourself being arrested is another. The police could easily just bring him in for questioning - there is absolutely no reason to put him through that. I’m starting to think he’s not just trying to get out of tests, the fact that he tried to delay a flight makes me think that sadly, he’s more trying to delay going home :( poor kid is definitely being abused.
