It’s so ridiculous now I used to watch him a bit before his content changed lol (I honestly still watch some of the vids because I have a love/hate relationship with cringy stuff)
i can confirm that doesn't work because i have been in prison for 900 days for doing that and if you're wondering I'm still in prison for the next few years
So a son tried to kill his mom over what he thought was a date between his mom and his teacher and he still didn’t get punished.I think we all know what would happen if we were caught doing that with our parents.
I don't know why the kid just let them get together because he could have had better grades, you know no son of mine will have bad grades so let's just give you a B,and not a C.That sounds great to me
The only way I can bear to watch Dhar Mann's stuff is in August's videos. They turn something nauseating into something actually funny and entertaining.
Actually a lot of August's videos make something horrible into something fun. And shameless plug.. I'm also hoping some of you might like the music that I make..:)
This was basically that Drake & Josh episode where they thought their stepdad was cheating on their stepmom//mom but in reality the dad was just meeting with a woman for a new job.
Being a former 9 year old Dhar Mann worshiper, (that was 4 years ago) I find it partially hilarious partially shocking that I didn't realize how gosh darn terrible these scripts are. I thought I would never say this (for very different reasons than the expected, but that's another story) but the duck is absolutely right.
@@DarkSoulsZHL Yeah, that is definitely true. I think the thing that mainly changed is that he has definitely not been changing lives as much as he says he is.
Dhar Mann sure is life changing. Just imagine a life where you can kill people without consequences just because you wanted to pull a prank and enjoy the results
I gotta give credit where credit is due. Dhar’s older videos actually had a lesson. It was more educational than entertainment. But now it has obvious lessons and cliché plot twists.
Ah yes, a job interview at a fancy romantic restaurant with romantic hints and her touching the man's arm in public, how did the children get confused? It's so clear. Also why should the mom hide that she has a job interview? And the message is that you can get away with poisoning people
Kids cheat on math test and skip school one day. Dhar Mann: 'DEATH PENALTY!' Kid tries to poison his mother by giving her something she's allergic to. Dhar Mann: 'Classic.'
@@whitezombie10 Yeah, but even if they do, the consequences usually aren't as overkill as in Dhar Mann vids, where every freedom of the kid is being taken away for like a year or so, and the child is being put as a shameless monster. All because of skipping one day at school. Boohoo
"This happens all the time" Oh yeah, I can't tell you how often I accidentally eat a food that has a relatively rare ingredient that I'm allergic to. Also, who has an interview at a fancy romantic restaurant?
I wouldn’t call it rare. It can be used as a spice in a lot of different recipes or In a restaurant setting I think it can be used just to add color to a dish/plate. More like uncommon. I only use it if i feel like im relying too much on my garlic powder lol
but paprika isnt relatively rare. Heck if it's paprika shes allergic to its probably any pepper, since thats what paprika is made out of, and those are hardly rare.
Mid 2000s tv show is a perfect way to explain dhar Mann videos. People like Zach and Cody and Carly and sam from older tv shows never really face consequences. For example, I’m pretty sure spencer only threatened to ground Carly like twice.
Bro did you not watch drake and josh this is an exact episode stepbrothers , ones cool and ones nerdy , the interview but instead of the mom cheating they didnt know im gonna find the episode
Another trend Dhar Mann's been doing lately is ripping off movies and fitting them into his channel's new bargain bin Disney Channel aesthetic. The most egregious example would be "Dad Dresses as Nanny to See His Kids," Dhar Mann's attempt at replicating Mrs. Doubtfire (sorry your memory is being besmirched like this, Robin Williams
Also weather he wanted to kill her or not, that is a form of assault. Intentionally giving someone an allergic reaction is assault and this kid should be in jail
Next video: Female dog and rabbit fall off a plane and land in the Amazon rainforest, what happens next is shocking. Or Teenage girl is undercover Spy, what happens next is shocking. Or Two kids get a Cellphone that can replace random people, what happens next is shocking. And they are all from 2000s Disney cartoons.
At this point dharr man KNOWS what the hell hes doing with these videos they make him money and he knows everyone is reacting to his content whether they be with him or against him,its kind of pointless to point out how disney sitcom he has gotten, but then again i like watching you critique and point out all those flaws in his videos
Guys we need to stop poisoning our teachers bc u thought ur mom was dating ur teacher but it was a job interview and then ur best friend becomes ur step-brother\sister. ugh happens to me all the time
His thumbnails have even turned into the kind of a colourful, photoshopped thumbnails that RU-vid loves to promote - he’s very obviously only in it for the money
Please, Dhar Mann, stop putting the line "even though I'm not dating X, I am dating Y," into your scripts. It is not a good twist. It is just annoying. Also, nothing that the teacher nor the mom said reflected their arrangement being an interview. Also, who wears informal attire to an interview? Also, who goes to a restaurant with that atmosphere for an interview? Also, she might want to rearrange her diet if she often comes in contact with an ingredient that makes her face swell up. Ever hear of an allergist? Ever hear of smart dieting?
I like annoying my friends by starting sentences with a ridiculously cutesy and patronising "you see..." and then go on to say something preachy. I usually get punched before I can finish my point now, though.
5:09 The guy basically said, "Speak sir", assuming that the guy reading the script has no clue how to read French. Judging by how he said it , he said "parle" (sorry if spelling is off) which is pronounced "par-luh". I may just have bad ears, but it sounded like he said "par-lay" instead. (I AM LEARNING FRENCH! If I misinterpreted, please correct me.) EDIT: After going back, the guy did say it correctly. Sorry, Mr. Actor.
So Monsignor Dhar Dhar ripped this straight from Drake and Josh (possibly other shows as well, I just remember this particular episode). Josh's dad, Walter, was going to chat business with a woman which led to both Drake and Josh following Walter to a restaurant where they, incorrectly, thought he was meeting said woman for a dinner date (and thereby cheating on Drake's mom). Drake and Josh went on to interrupt and sabotage the date, culminating in confronting Walter who basically told them "yadda yadda not a date yadda yadda job offer". That episode ran pretty similarly to this, in both premise and execution.
Oh god, I need to let this out. My dad manages a restaurant and I'm over there daily to help out, the sneaking into the kitchen scene and distracting the girl fucking KILLED me- 1. There'd be like 3 cooks in the kitchen all running around to cook all the meals, NOT ONE GUY THAT LOOKS LIKE HE COULD SLIP AND DIE WHILE ALSO COOKING SO SLOWLY. 2. That girl (I'm assuming she'd also be working as a server) would 100% shove past Hunter, listen, the priority is getting the food out, they're WORKING. 3. The waiter should and WOULD have noticed something off with the food, unless he's blind, which, probably, also he wouldn't have confused the tables, we also write down the table number along with the food, it'd be chaos if we didn't. Also, WHERE'S THE MANAGER?? THIS PLACE IS NOT ONLY SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, BUT ALSO LACKS A MANAGER? HUH??? This is from personal experience btw, but I don't think other restaurants are too different.*
Dhar Mann made sense and had serious life lessons back then(some which I actually almost got sad from what happened in the videos). Now it is literally a Disney channel. Another thing I noticed is whenever it is middle school age kids acting and adults and 20 year old acting it just seems less serious
Dhar Mann used to produce more realistic content that would happen commonly on a day to day basis but with the current changing of actors, it has downgraded, making me quite sad that Dhar Mann is joining the wacky life lesson channels. The og actors were great, the new ones don't give off the same spark.
Have you ever played a horror game called Nun Massacre? It has some of the most harrowingly scary enemies and sounds you'll ever encounter and I think I speak for everyone when I say we'd love to see you play it.
@@ruthie_rosario try outlast 1 and 2, they’re different, and not by puppet combo, but they’re what I consider some of the best horror games of all time to be
5:20 i normally just laugh at these "french" skits, but as a french person i actually felt offended by this one, it's just so bad, it almost sounded like he was being bad on purpose
Lmao it's funny how you mentioned that this Dhar Mann video feels like a Nickelodeon sitcom because there was literally an episode like this in 'Drake and Josh'- The Affair, it's where Drake and Josh both think their dad Walter is cheating on their mum with a weather reporter.

august ur literally one of the most funniest person in RU-vid , RU-vid really needs someone like you ,mature , common sense and humor . I hope u have a great day august the duck.
Tbh I still do like Dhar Mann's videos, however I am someone who can tolerate/genuinely like so bad its good entertainment. So even if something is deliciously campy I still love it because the camp is so good. However I must agree with August here, while Dhar Mann never had what I would call stellar videos at least his older videos came with the intentions of making videos with messages "Don't cheat, don't judge people" etc. It was simple, but the videos set out what they were suppose to do. If you could get past the campiness of the scripts. However I DO find a lot of the newer ones don't go for a particular theme or direction, just sitcom plots with morals thrown in. And some of them can have genuinely frustrating endings or double standards, especially if it often involves a teenager where the parents think the best solution is to gaslight them or authority figures using similar tactics or overkilling the punishment of who is suppose to be the antagonist. I will admit, as over the top they can be the antagonists are easily the best characters in Dhar's newest videos just because if they get to over the top you can kinda just get some laughs out of it or poke fun of the dialogue, but quite frankly in other cases the protagonists end up worse than said villains. Not to say its always like that, but in most cases of his modern videos yes. But this is just me, I still like his videos but I don't try to think about them even if I give my thoughts. Still you raise good points in this video I can agree with. To be fair though Dhar Mann has made a few videos I would genuinely call great like the "Son Falsifies Will" for instance. So there's that.
@@johnkingbad Sometimes, as much as I like Dhar Mann, I have to admit I forget he's a life lesson channel and just watch his videos for "entertainment."
It's fine if Dhar Mann's whole marketing schtick was literally anything other than a life lesson channel. Maybe he should make a separate account for that, I dunno.
The job interview disguised as a date, for two boys to mess with it... Literally the same setup from Drake and Josh AND the fact that they are going to be brothers
Not only is the "life lesson" messed up but you also have that little sprinkle of racism added in when they commented about the waiter not being Italian. Real nice.
Yeah... the FOOD should be Italian, not the waiters. There aren't enough Italian waiters and cooks in the USA for all those Italian restaurants so they have only Italian people 🤦♂️
For a channel that's all about spreading positivity and shit, they could've used that moment to tell something to the viewers. Like, they could have the teacher say "you do know everyone who works in an Italian restaurant doesn't have to be Italian, right?" And make the mother feel a bit guilty about it and immediately apologize to the waiter when he brought their food. But let's be real, is Dhar Mann really that kind of channel anymore?
Btw A kid that thinks giving there mom a Allergic reaction and that other guy spice cause he can’t tolerate it will definitely stop a date in his mind is a fool witch shows the slow decline of darr man.
2:30 My mom has sworn to me that she prioritizes me and my sister over getting back in the dating game and I love her for it. I feel bad for this kid tbh
I used to love his videos but they have gotten really lame and honestly thank you for coming out with this video because some of this is kind of sick🤷♀️ I guess people will do anything for views🤔
His videos in 2019, early and mid 2020 we're kinda good in my opinion. But in 2021...the videos are so unrealistic and don't really make any sense now.
