No need of empowerment to recite this Dharani, visualize and recite with firm devotion. In some prayer , empowerment is must, it is clearly advised in that prayer or dharani

Dear maxim, It's your wish whether you should recite Mantra separately or full prayer. But it's better to recite full prayer.
