I have 5 planets in 1st house ans one in 2nd in D1but in Bhava Chalit 4 planets move from ascendant to 2nd house. So whether I should consider D1 or Bhava chalit for the purpose of identifying my path?

SIMON please, planets in fire, earth, air and water elements indicates tendency of a person but it completely depends on their strength whether positive or negative.
dharma is always oppsite of kama and artha is opposite moksha . so we can add dharma + kama as DK and AM . these two will give opposites. balancing both might be the way out. we cant leave anything . if some one has more kama planets , idently kama aspects in rest of the 3 types also, only then more realisation will happen
If we take 4th house it also represents Kama like real estate,vechiles,luxury, property's right.i think we need to differentiate between all the houses,like 12th house may be maximum moksha house,4th house minimum moksha house...may be we have take in consideration of planets sitting (influencer) in the house for proper judgement of characteristics of a person....
I have 6 planets in Artha houses...none in Dharma so I'm assuming I help society and complete my Dharma through the things I do in the Artha world like earning money and working.

Mr. Choikoisky I get two different horoscopes when I entered my birth data in two different systems. With Sam Geppi system my moon and mars are in 8th house, but with Lada Duncheva system my moon and mars are in 9th house. Do you know which system is the accurate system?
Not sure what you mean by 'system' but I'm guessing one is a tropical chart with house cusps, and the other is a whole-sign Vedic astrology chart. I would pick one and study it before going back and forth.

This technique is just for the rashi... Not for transiting planets... Only for the static (not moving) planets in your D1... Therefore, if mars is in a dharma house in your rashi (D1), it will remain there... It cannot move into a moksha house ...
You only considered the case when there is a balance between 3 paths: 2 planets x 3, but you did not talk about the case when you have 3 planets x 2, in 2 different paths. For example I have 3 planets in both Dharma and 3 in Moksha, and one in Kama.
@Virtual Insanity It’s something you can’t really explain. You just know when you know. It’s like meeting god. People don’t believe you, because god is met on a personal persuit. You can’t really tell people about god until they know god for themselves.
1 mistake I want to correct here - you should definitely consider Rahu and Ketu. Rahu is the most POWERFUL navagraha. It represents the subconscious mind. I fell in love with Bakthi yoga and started pursuing Moksha during my Rahu Antardasha.
Same for me. 3 planets Artha in 2nd house, 2 in 12th. 1 in 3rd. I do strive for financial security but only because I want to be free to do and be anything I want. I can’t stand any form of restriction and freedom is most important to me.

Oprah, queen of the world? According to whom? I have to say, I'm rather disappointed in your quiz, particularly #8 which says: "I mainly watch T.V. for... Choose more than one answer, if applicable." I don't watch TV. and neither should you -- or anyone reading this for that matter. This does not apply to me at all so I cannot even complete your so-called quiz. Secondly, question #5 implies that everyone is a parent with the second part of each question phrased: "As a parent...". So again, this is a big assumption to be making about a wider audience. This doesn't speak well to your over all intellect unfortunately. Do you really think everyone watches TV? Do you really think everyone taking that quiz is a parent? Not to lecture but this should be better constructed than this to have any credibility. Who made this quiz, your 20-something intern? Come on, you are capable of so much better than this!
