The story of this movie was taken from a rajasthani folk story which is very popular in Sekhawati region of Rajasthan. Those who have watched the movie carefully must have heard of place called NAWALGARH in movie which is actually a city of sekhawati, Rajasthan. I have heard this story story from my grandmother in my childhood long before even this film was made. I want to show this movie to her but she only speak in rajasthani language so I guess she will not understand hindi😌😌 But this movie has made my childhood imagination come live on screen 😊😊

This was one of the best movie of SRK but I guess the Indian audience didn't quiet understand the story - believe me the storyline is a similiar TRUE incident happened with someone I know personally.

What a singer Sonu Nigam sir is. Such a melodious and delightful voice. One of the God of singing. I referred him as a god singing for the reason that "he do all possible justice to make the song sounds like heaven".

I see many of our friends saying even in telugu we have this song. Yes it is there and composed by Keeravani garu only.. Once again just now I heard both Hindi and telugu version. Thought the tune "Dheere jhalna" or Naadiridinna is same. Song composition I see difference. Level of composition in hindi is very High ( may be based on movie subject) . It is both Hindustani and classical mix I guess not very sure . However that could be the main reason for National award for best playback singer. And when Shreya Ghoshal version starts " Socha na .." 🙏👍 no words that's why though less portion of Song was sung was given award

I was very small when i "overheard" this song played on tv and places at the time this was released. Cut to when i started appreciating music and would have access to the remote at my home and a small phone and this music somehow clicks in my subconscious and I'm stuck. Only now i know it had won awards and stuff😮 That is so great!! They chose a winner🏆 otherwise I used to listen it just for myself
