Recipe: Soyabean er Dhokar dalna recipe
About this recipe: Bondhura aj ami ekti notun dhoroner ranna niye chole esechi apnader samne seti holo Soyabean er Dhokar dalna.
Dhokar dalna amra sobai barite banai kintu ei dhokar dalna khete jemon asadharon temni tul tule norom. Cholun tahle bole di ranna ta ami kivabe korlam.
Ingredients for Soyabean er Dhoka :
100 gram chana dal/cholar dal,
1 and 1/2 half packet soyabean,
Green chillies,
small amount of water,
1 teaspoon coriander seeds,
1 teaspoon cumin seeds,
2 teaspoon mustard oil,
Small amount of asafoetida( hing)
salt as per taste,
Small amount of turmeric powder,
small amount of sugar,
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder,
Process:
Take a bowl and soak the dal for 2 to 3 hours.
Wash it,add green chillies, water and paste it.
Soak the soyabean for 1 hour.
Wash it properly, add water and blend it.
Take a kadai add coriander and cumin then roast it.
At first roast the coriander then roast cumin.
Now grind the roasted masalas.
Now add the oil into the kadai.
Heat the oil and add soyabean,dal paste.
Cook it till it gets dry.
Now add the hing.
Salt, turmeric powder and sugar.
Cook it well.
Now add the roasted masalas and garam masala.
Mix it well.
Soyabean er Dhokar mixture is ready.
Take a plate and brush oil over it.
Put the mixture on it.
Give a round shape of the mixture.
Let it for cooling.
After sometime cut it into pieces.
Take a kadai add refined oil into it.
Heat the oil and fry all the lentil cakes.
Ingredients for Dhokar Dalna:
3 potatoes,
2 tomatoes,
2 tablespoon cumin seeds,
2 tablespoon cumin seeds,
1/2 inch ginger,
2 bay leaves,
Red chillies,
small amount of asafoetida,
Salt as per taste,
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon sugar,
Refined oil,
3 cup water,
1 teaspoon ghee,
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
Process:
Take the potatoes and peel it.
Chopped it and wash it properly.
Wash the tomatoes and chopped it.
Paste the masala ingredients.(Coriander,cumin,bay leaves,ginger, red chillies)
Add refined oil into a kadai.
Fry the chopped potatoes.
Then add the tomatoes.
Cook them together.
Add the masala paste.
Add asafoetida,salt, turmeric,sugar.
Cook it well.
Now add water and cover it for 10 mins.
Open the lid and add the cakes.
Again cover it and cook it for 2 to 3 mins.
Add ghee and then add garam masala powder.
Cover it again.
