I was helpless it was urgent to wear a dhoti trape saree but nobody was there to help me and I thought it will be really hard to wear a saree like this but your video helped me a lot
So what do you do when u go pee and take it off. U not going to have an iron table to even be able to redo this in the bathroom especially if ur not home…

I think if you didn't have pants below, you'd be able to just squat and pull the fabric to the sides. Not sure how easy it would be with a toilet though

Thanks for this video! I have a question....we all know how to maneuver a sari to use the washroom. But for the dhoti drape would we need to undrape and redo afterwards???? Anyone have experience??

Do NOT try this with a thin linen saree because I just did and my undies were on full display, showing through everything 🤣🤣but this is an excellent tutorial and perfect for thicker sarees
WHO drapes a saree on an undie. I mean idk anyone in India who does that. A saree is supposed to go on a petticoat (or leggings if it is nauvari styled). And the petticoat's colour should match the colour of the saree. This ensures that if the saree is thin/transparent, it doesn't look odd.
A foreigner who loves to learn more about saree here... Question: how do you go to the washroom in this style? I know this sounds really dumb, but it's essential for me to know...
How is this for sitting on a temple floor if it’s open in the center? Obviously pants would be ideal in this case but are there any special considerations for sitting with any of the saree styles you feature? TIA
Or you can check how dhotis are worn Like there is another step after knotting, in which you pick the portion of the saree that is behind your legs, pull it upwards while stretching your legs on both sides to make it comfortable like how much length would be necessary and than tuck that part in where the knot is. It will cover the crotch portion of your body. There are different dhoti videos in which they have shown doing that, you can check that out for more clarity
