Dhudu Nacheya is a traditional folk song from Chamba valley in Himachal Pradesh.
This song is about Lord Shiva who is described as 'Dhudu' - dancing with his hair open. As Gaura & Ganga - his two wives, going to get water, they enter into an argument about the nature of their relationship.
Ganga smilingly says that she is the step wife of Lord Shiva. Angry, Gaura starts fighting with Ganga, destroying all her beautiful ornaments. Sage Bhagiratha elopes with Ganga leaving Lord Shiva (Dhudu) alone....

@@mangalabaligabhat1093 Dhudu Nachaya....Dhudu means Shivji Lord shiva dances and his open matted hair are all around..and when shiva dances ..drum beats. 2. Maa Gaura and Ganga go to water and ...Maa Gauri asks Maa ganga..who are you (how we are realted) to which Ganga says I am your sautan and then they fight and neclace breaks on Chaurasi...and beads fell on chaurasi (place near Bharmaur) and Bhigirath takes away Ganga. 3. Shivji remains all alone ....and Maa Gaura in anger makes Shivaji suffer from stomachache and the n dharadhar dhuni and booti is brought 4. and this is how shivji gets relieved.

I hail from Dehra,Kangra but born & grown in Delhi but understand my language very well. After a long time, I listened to such a soothing voice dedicated to Lord Shiva. This song reminds me of my village. I am from the himachal as well but for job i have to migrate. Missing those mountains,Those sceneries of rising sun behind the mountains and seting back behind them.The flute echo that i used to play..... fortunately i have songs by listening them i can visualise everything...❣️Songs of karnel rana hits differently......

I was in dalhousi, asked taxi owner sonu to play some himanchali song,Bollywood is not making the perfect scene for enjoying this view, and yeah this Is how i got introduced with this gem, asked him song name and listened the same song in repeat mode from dalhousi to ludhiana and followed the same routine for few weeks, today, whenever i feel down i listen to this and it makes me feel energized instantly, thank you abhigya, and yeah please drop meaning of whole song, I'll be highly obliged 🙏🙏

Wow!!!! Making this comment after listening to the first line!!! There is soul dripping in that voice! Would have loved to be one of those sitting there and listening to you! Great tune and even great singing!!!! (Wish i understood the meaning too, but it doesnt really matter. Just the tone of it can stir your soul)! Just like how after you eat something very tasty you dont want to eat anything else immediately so to not spoil that taste that lingers in your mouth, now i dont feel like listening to any other song any time soon so that this soul-stirring tune can linger a little longer in me!!!! :-)

Its sweet fight between Ganga and Parvati about their relationship with shiva and with each other. Parvati is jealous when Ganga says that she is basically her sautan. To which mata Parvati gets insecure and she sends Ganga off with Bhagirath. And when she goes home back to Shiva. He starts missing Ganga and feels sickness with longing. To which Parvati gets worried and try to search for a cure and thats when she comes across weed and gives it to Shiva. And which finally makes Shiva feel better. Its a beautiful song.
