Great and comprehensive video! Thanks for introducing Dia. I just came to know about it as a FREE substitute for MS Visio at our institution (for flowcharts).
Is it 100% free? Many apps have a 7 days trial, limited available features or something of the sort. I am looking for something I can use forever for free. Thank you for the video!
Thanks for the video tutorial. I learned about Dia today. installed today for the 1st time. good tutorial vid!! But how do i enter mathematical expressions like an integral or partial derivative, fractions, etc? copy pasting from Wolfram Mathematica results in #$%^\!
@@digitidea looking forward, thanks for your attention. The only way i can think of is by exporting importing SVG files between _DIA_ and _MATHEMATICA_ . It works but is a pita.
Could someone be so kind to send me a link where I can download DIA? I thought I downloaded it but it was just the shapes or is DIA an online application in the cloud? Let a brotha know. Thanks in advance.
Everything seems to be working, except when I select a shape. The points are blue, not green, as mentioned in your videos, they seem to be locked, and I cannot grab them to resize to shape. I wonder what it is, I'm baffled? Thanks, in advance! I really do like the simplicity of your open source software.
